His visit to Mumbai was to offer succour to 7/11 victims. If he was serious he should have restricted himself to that.Instead he makes uncalled for and ridiculoust statements against Dr.Singh.It is time Advani calls it a day.Enough of his services to the nation. It is time for young responsible and educated youth who form the majority in this country to take charge and sweep all these old worthies aside.
The sincere Pm has been referred to in wrong context by Advani. This comment is typical of the hypcrate BJP leader who has never shed even crocodile tears over the loss of life of innocent Muslims in Gujrat.

EAbe sale James, This is congress and public like you who is resposible for each and every problem in our country. Is Adwani responsible for 9/11,in America , Is adwani responsible for Kashmir problems? Is adwani responsible for London and Mumbai Bomb blast. Is adwani responsible for the violence in Kashmir and through out the country and world? Is Adwani Responsible for Mumbai bomb blast? Is adwani responsible for letest nonsence in Pakistan? Congress is responsible for all the problems in India. The reasons are as per follwing.. 1)Sardar Patel should have been made the first Prime minister of India. 2)Contineus Appeasment of Muslims and always using them as vote bank which has created nonsence. 3)In 1971,Congress could not capitalize the very big win of India over Pakistan in order to solve the Kashmir problem in favour of India. India has missed that golden chance for ever due to Congress ki bevkufi. 4)Apllication of emergency in India in 1975.That time Indira Gandhi had become the genaral Parvez Musharaf of India. 5)Murder of around 4000 Sikhs all over India by congressmen and that lead to millitancy in Punjab. 6)Changing of judgement of court in Shahbano case. 7)Being in power most of the time, Congress is more responsible for the drawbcks of our country today. 8) congress - Gandhi = 0 India - Congress = The Best country Samjha ke nahi sale James, kya.samjhau ab.......
Dear Indians Better not to discuss about this political statements. But think & act yourself for the future of India. We the common man should change the good fortune of India, not the politicians. Remember Gandhiji,Subas Bose are common man first then leadres who changed the fate of India. Hurry up.
I am really feel pity on BJP for their cheap comments. Did they lose their sleep over the issue of Kargil & Gujarat Riots. Now a days any & every statement is to be counter attacked by each other without realising the fact of common man. What Advani did till so far to see these effected people been restored?

Mr. Advani not doing anything (as you argue) is not a justification for the PM to make the kind of statements that he has made. Infact, if the PM was concerned about tackling terrorism, he should take more serious steps and prove that his Govt is better than the previous NDA Govt. This was anopportunity to show the UPA Govt's strength (if they had any). But, instead, the PM just plays on the sentiments of people. It is sad.

You should feel pity for the comments made by Dr.Sigh as a prime minister of india. By making such cheap comments to play dirty vote bank politics and supporting the what ever the minority does, Singh has defame the moral values which he should uphold as a PM.

CORRECTION Mr.PRASHANT SHARMA!
Left parties, stay a step above of all the so called secular, pseudo-secular, right wing parties!
West Bengal has the largest percentage of citizens who practise Islamic faith, after J&K. West Bengal was also witness to the violence at the time of partition, actually more than what happened in the western frontiers, if you include the violence just before the partition also!
Logically, it shoud have witnessed the most communal riots in the country than any other state! Right?
But look at their history! Not one communal riot! If the State wants to control communal riots, they very well can!
Rajeev's administration didn't want in 1984 and so is Modi
Why Advani is very much worried is only because of his soft corner for brothern in Pakistan. No issues in India to debate; hence digging out unwanted coffins. You will never be the PM of India for that matter, Mr Advani.

Infact it is the PM and the Congress that is worried and this is evident from the statement of the PM. Get your history right and then comment.

Most Pakistanis believe Jinnah was an Islamist who wanted Pakistan to be an Islamic nation. In fact - Jinnah always wore suits but his pictures are shown to be in sherwani. Jinnah was a pork eating person and was quite upset with Gandhi's pious religiousity and felt that Indian state will have a Hindu character to it if it was united. It is a fact Jinnah wanted a nation for muslims but it is not certain whether he wanted an Islamic nation run by Shariat. In case he did not want an Islamic nation, then he can be correctly described as a secular person - which is something Pakistanis do not like him to be called. Advani is not wrong. He is one of the more rational and sensible politicians around.

Jinnah even in his wildest nightmares didn't imagine the course Pakistan took! On his deathbed he in his frustration told Liaqat Ali Khat that if he continues his way "I will call Nehru and take over!" At best he wanted a state with greater autonomy and an idetity. For those who do not know, even after partition he held shares in Mohammed & Mahindra (the current Mahindra & Mahindra) and several Indian cos. It's his successors steered Pak away from India with hate campaign and we in our foolishness, despite our big size and strength let that happen! We should have used our influence rather than becoming pawns of superpowers. You can't change neighbours!
Till Narasimha Rao came we had a cold policy even to Burma! Far away CHina made inroads into Burma to our discomfiture!
If Pakistan disintegrates, it's the Indian Army should walk in and co-ordinate with Pakistani army, if not Iran and others will walk in and come closer to our borders!
Hatred, in a way, is a better sign than indifference! Hatred shows a common thread! It doesn't take longer for converting hatred into love. It takes longer to convert indifference into love! Hatred of rejection of existing love indifference is not.
Indians and Pakistanis can love each other! French and English are enemies for 600 years and we are only for 60 years!

If Jinnah wanted Pakistan to be a secular state - does that make him secular or religious ? Saying that he wanted Pakistan to be a secular state means that Advani though Jinnah was secular otherwise why would he want it to be secular ? Take some lessons in basic logic Sandeep ... and please don't compare Modi with Advani. Advani has been an even handed politician.

Dear Rationalist It was a tricky statement meant to tell the world that an Islamic State was not he idea of Jinnah. If you could not understand this you need to abandon the rationalist school and join nursery school.
