PM loses sleep
by my message on Jul 11, 2007 07:21 PM  Permalink

What a pity that the PM is moved by such issues.
Did the PM loose sleep over the tragic incident where a poor father tried to kill his own daughter as he could not afford her treatment? May be not - this was probably not a case of a minority that the PM had to take it seriously!!!!!!!

Did the PM lose sleep when farmers were committing suicide, when naxalites were killing security personnel, when terrorists started the pogrom for kashmiri pandits, when chinese make belligerent statements (the list is long)? If not then what new has happened this time that he is losing sleep.

My advise please sleep under Sonia's feet. You will feel safe.

Our PM!
by Suresh Menon on Jul 11, 2007 07:17 PM  Permalink

Our Prime Minister Dr.Singh is going overboard with his appeasement statements. He is on record having said the a particular minority has first claim to the nation's resources (Hello, we have a constitution that guarantees equality!), and now this statement!!!

Is he going out of mind due to continued bouts of sleeplessness?

One may argue that it is his personal feeling about the suspects' families that he pronounced in public, BUT...he should weigh his words as he is manning a responsible high office...

Advani's response is just a natural one. The present UPA dispensation is doing enough to fan the flames of terrorism and communal hatred. The PM is also on record talking about his desire to have lunch in Islamabad and dinner in Kabul, but is short of words when he needs to talk tough with the extremists. The result of all this - insurgencies going (criminally) unchecked and investigations into terror strikes getting stalled at some point.

We cannot expect much from a bunch of jokers who worry only about the votes that they need to poll in the next election.

Pm's sleepless night and 11/7
by Pramod Kulkarni on Jul 11, 2007 07:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr Advani is absolutely right..his comments on Hon'ble PM carry deep message. Why Mrs Gandhi, Mr Manishankar Iyer, Mr Arjun singh, Mr Yechuri,Mr Sharad Pawar and now even Mr Bal Thakare are keeping mum over the issue of justice to the victims of 11/7 blasts? What is their reaction over the invistagations and findings in UK and Austrelia? Remember Mr Advani is the first home minister of the country who has documented the names of terrorists living in Pakistan under official shelter, on official papers of home ministry and handed over to Pakistan for action. Why didn't previous govts initiated such moves and now what is the follow up of this initiative by this govt? He is the only home minister- and even only minister-who has publicly warned US for the supply of modern weapons to Pakistan. Why cong led govt could not do his? What is the policy of so called Nationalist party? Or it has no role than playing cricket and watching suicides of farmers?
These ugly n irresponsible office bearers need this dose..they deserve much harsh public reaction than this..the day is not far away!

Sagar, investigations and reports have confirmed these terrorist called up their parents to speak about the failed project and getting blessings for new project. The "coded" conversation also proves that parenrs are not innocent, under such circumstances PM's remarks- are they justified???

The only way to keep India free from any terrorist activities is to totally eliminate the congress party and congress culture from this country.Like Hitler did to jew, let all the congress people be exterminated right from botomm to top.

we cannot compare singapore to India...Singapore has a size of a small indian city...India is more like United States of India...different languages and cultures...we have to accept peoples will...if people have selected congress then be it...no point in cursing democracy...
