It seems that Mr. Mushraf had learnt lessons from his past mistakes. I appreciate his Bravado. At least now our Government has to learn lessons from him.

Lack of respect for the fellow human being is the sole reason for genocides/murders/rapes.It is not that the things were better before any raiders came to India.Be it in times of Alexander or Ghauri.Everyone who invaded India wanted to express their superiority.But then again wasn't our caste system enough???? But then all these arguements are out of context and not connected with this episode.This eposide is Pakistan's headache and let them deal with it.Our opinions,as Indians,hardly matters to anyone across the border,when it comes to their problems.
A really tough step Musharraf has taken against fundamentalist. Indian politicians should learn something. If the same thing would have happened in India, the fundamentalists would have been offered Chicken & Biryani & they should have got free passage.Even they would have got released some of their hardcore terrorist friends also from indian prison.

Ok.. fundamentalist are RSS, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena.... and what about Muslim fundamentalist. Muslim fundamentalist have got "LICENSE TO KILL" and plot all conspiracy against people of India. Take any terror activity not only in India but through out the world and you will find only ONE religion is invloved in that... I don't have to specify that.. Everyone knows that....
What is happening in Pakistan does not make any sense. It is just an assault on life. Whatever your belief, have confidence in that, so that people will accept and may be follow. By forcing your way of life to others, is just tyranny and should be resisted by all.
We all have to coexist. People have different backgrounds and no God will accept killing of innocent people and even other living creatures.
Irrespective of religious affiliations, these people are terrorists, pure and simple, and have to be treated like that. Yesterday, China put to death the chief of food and drugs for corruption. His approval of spurious drugs led to some deaths. The justice was swift and there was not a flutter from the people. Pakistan moved swiftly against the red mosque rogues with good support from the majority.
Similar actions in India will create an approar from many quarters. Let us call a spade a spade and support the authorities to put out these activities with an iron hand. No grievances are bigger than an assault on civilised life. When majority in India are struggling to keep body and soul together, our pursuit of God with a vengeance can be put in the back burner. People who feel strongly can go to some desert and shout for God. Please leave the majority alone.
I congratulate Pakistan govt for their bold action to root out these evil to protect the lives of innocents.
We also should act boldly in similar situations and avoid misplaced sympathies.

India is a more human and civilized society deep down inside because of influence of religion.
you cannot compare India with the chinese or the pakistanis.
In the long run violence begets more violence..so I think India will withstand the test of time. The other nations may not.

They will drive our country down in drain. In fact they are time tested buffoons who should be put to death like some nazi extermination camp
Hats off to Mush. At great personal risk he has taken the right decision. A decision for the good of Pakistan. Here I am not referring to radicals, Hindus Christians or Muslims. It does not need much imagination to guess how our own dear doctor would have acted had he been confronted with a similar situation. Possibly had more sleepless nights. I wish he has more sleepless nights for the mothers and sisters of the victims as well. My suggestion to the good doctor-do not glosses over when you are CEO of a country. You come out as a weak person and also lose your credibility.
All you losers, don't u have any girlfriend ? Get one and stop doing Rediff. Do a girl , u bunch of losers. Whaddya think because of you , India, Pakistan, Mid _East, West are going to change their policies ? Hell nobody cares what you say or don't. So why waste time and energy? GEt a girl 'NINCOMPOOPS'? Or get an animal.

You get what you sow. Indira Gandhi and Bindranwala now Musharaff and LalMasjid. Next Congress and the so called secularism Its not far now that We shall face such scenes in many places in India. worst going to be in TamilNadu--Thanks Karunanidi and his secularism.

I was also thinking about the same. Musharaff vs Lal Masjid = Indira vs Golden temple.I don't know that if the two can be equated or not but scenarios are much the same.
