With the Red Mosque incident, it seems terrorism has now started pinching Pakistan a little more painfully. Pakistan now wants to solve the Kashmir issue because they don't want this to bring more trouble for them. India may now hammer since the iron is glowing hot.

you may be right ... the paki moderates are fearing that they may soon be controlled by the extremeists if they fail to bring them under control ... but I still doubt pakistan's sincerity in this offer. in all liklihood it is just another eyewash
but, if pakistan really wants to resolve the issue and stop sponsoring terrorism in kashmir that India has often accused it of, I'd say go for it ...
congress govt. should make full use of every diplomatic opportunity.

Not just India, even developed countries like US, Canada, China, Japan, UK, France Germany, Australia are secular.
Hindus don't want to be run talibani style by the likes of shiv sena - it's far far better to be secular than living in a religiously closeted midset like those arab coutries.
As India has been a secular country, its time now India should be divided in few small countries like
Hundustan : for Hindus Muslimstan : for Muslims Sikhistan : for Sikhs Christianistan : for Christans Jainistan : for jains Budhistan : for buddhists Parsistan : for Parsis Mallistan : for malayalis Bangalistan : for Bengalis Assmestan : for assamese ........... ...........

Gandhi's contribution to India's freedom struggle was second to none. The man sacrificed his life, so generations could live free and here are some misguided people like you who don't thank him for the good that he did but hurl abuses upon him.
