A police team examining the records of Kafeel who studied his engineering in the State, found grave deficiencies in his college certificates with his caste being mentioned as Hindu in the engineering college.
The police are also examining reports that the father of the Ahmed brothers, Dr Maqbool Ahmed, was incarcerated in the Bangalore Central jail during the Emergency for 18 months because of his links with thebanned Jamaat-e-Islami.
A police team has gone to the native place of Dr Maqbool Ahmed in Hassan district, which he left 40 years ago to pursue his medical education.

Dear MG, How do you justify INDIA is most corrupt and violent country? I have travelled all over the world and found INDIA to be the most peaceful and friendly country. What ever violences hv erupted here can be largely attributed to HIGHEST PROVOCATION. Yet indians r largely peaceful and tolerant. When I say, Indians, I mean ALL RELIGIONS ALL CREEDS. But, oflate some communities have taken the peaceful nature of people and law of the land for granted. Thats unfortunate. I am not a HINDU...I am a INDIAN who believes in world peace and co-existence.
u people crisise islam just for the deeds of 2 men eventhough without any evidense .y cant u people critisise germans and christians bcoz hitler belonged to germany and that he was a christian . try to think bfore u critisise the best reliegion in this world

Dear Mystery, its not abt 2 people....it has been happening all over the world (including muslim dominated places like pak, afganistan, iraq, iran, saudi..etc). Who are the culprit and who r the victims? Its Muslims all the way who blow up things wherever n whenever they want. They should understand the whole scenerios which brings SHAME to whole community. the community or guys like u or marigold sud condemn them instead of pointing fingers at others.
