Parents' Responsibility
by purna on Jul 07, 2007 08:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why an Indian muslim from a respectable family, should get involved in terrorist activities in a foreign country which is India's friend? It is difficult to digest that their parents had no clues to their dangerous behaviour. Let other parents wake up and persuade their children to reform if they see such fanatical impulses. Parents have to be more vigilant and find out what their children are doing in the spare time.

True, parents needs to be very careful nowadays. Some fanatics who have the highest talent to influence people needs to be kept under wraps. If somebody can brainwash such good students who are so good in academics, imagine influencing an ordinary person. Let's be brave & face the situation. Jai Hindustan!!!!

You don't have to give up from quran. Take a pledge to shun violence, respect all religions, discourage forced conversion, encourage voluntary exit from islam, no fatwas, no violent punishment - stoning to death, beheading.

That exactly is the problem with muslims, using voilence as a solution for everything. If some idiot say's all hindus are bigot's, we won't go and bash that person or use voilence to destroy him. We would ignore him because he is ignorant and doesn't know a crap about anything. Muslim's need to learn to forgive and not get offended so easily. Some idiot did some cartoons and what happen's, world over muslims are destroying lives. Think about how you can get back at the perptrator with out voilence. One way could have been to ask your muslims friends to make similar cartoons and put it on the front page of y'r muslim news papers. Guess you guys forgot humor!

Sympathy
by Deepak Rupani on Jul 07, 2007 08:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The latest failed terror attacks only prove that terrorism has no region or religion. Now India is in limelight because of the latest failed attacks, as Pakistan has been over a period of time. The after effects the families face after such incidents forces us to sympathize with them and show our support, who surely do not favor such acts. These are some misguided youth who do not know how easily the so called religious leaders make them their weapons to spread hatred in the society.
It is this time when we must sympathize with these misguided youth and their families and make them see the light at the end of the tunnel and also it is the responsibility of our religious leaders to show unity and send a strong message that none of our religions preach hatred.
The families of such youth should NOT be at any cost targeted and rather should be given extra care and support sending a strong signal to everyone sitting on the fence that we all are one and living in a society where there are no different religions except one.. which is HUMANITY.

I would suggest for these families to be PROACTIVE ( can't stress enough ). If there is a change in behaviour please monitor and take steps. Instead of leaving it acerbate like this.

A police team examining the records of Kafeel who studied his engineering in the State, found grave deficiencies in his college certificates with his caste being mentioned as Hindu in the engineering college.

The police are also examining reports that the father of the Ahmed brothers, Dr Maqbool Ahmed, was incarcerated in the Bangalore Central jail during the Emergency for 18 months because of his links with thebanned Jamaat-e-Islami.

A police team has gone to the native place of Dr Maqbool Ahmed in Hassan district, which he left 40 years ago to pursue his medical education.

Rediff Forum is good
by optimist on Jul 07, 2007 08:13 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rediff forum is doing a lot of good for people who are having hatred for others, who do not hesitate to write abusive language, who do not have broad outlook, and who can be brainwashed easily by others like politicians, jihadis, etc. For example, once the people leave some portion of their hatred for others in this forum, their hatred level for others decreases. Similarly, by going through opinions of other people, their problem analysis capabilities increase. That way this forum is good. Don't bother about abusive language. It is their sickness and they will improve soon.
