Dear Muslims! Please wake up to the reality around you. I pray that you get into main-stream education along with the religious teachings and do not let these semi-educated self-appointed protectors of Islam..the Mullahs.. If something does not feel right..question it. There is nothing which is absolute in this Universe and so isn't Islam. Please wake up to the reality that the west is exploiting this rigid & illiterate (regards to main-stream education) base to target you. To be smart & be worldly wise , you need not leave Allah..You can be a muslim & can gel well with this world. Do not follow all the medieval teachings since they were meant for that particular time, scenario, enemies etc. Wake up and see that people generalise & say Islam is a cruel religion. You do not want this. Your actions are directly responsible for the image Islam has today. All muslim youth must try and study hard and work for the country. Because there are very few muslims at the desicion making level, the politicians find it easy to use them as a vote bank. Uneducated masses of UP, Bihar, MP ,NE are the vote banks. Please get into the main stream and shun the rules & regulations of Islam which are not in tune with times..the interpretations of Mullahs are to suit their requirements. Do not fall prey to brainwashing about Islam being in danger. Remember -- Islam is in danger because of these ghastly & dishonourable & cowardly acts of violence committed by muslims. Country first, then religion!
It is nice to see some posts as Ratnajayant's. I think about this too. The problem is ..it is too idealistic & like a dream. BUT..nevertheless some of us can follow it. The problem with Islam is that it has got stuck in the ages when it was propagated. Muslims have to get out the absolutism that the clerics teach. BUT ..how is this going to happen? My take is that we must educate the muslims...oh yes ..people will point out that Kafeel-Sabeel were educated. Well...they are an aberration, maximum number of terrorists are uneducated and exploited youth. And let me tell you...while Muslims are backward..the christians & jews are shrewd & white collar terrorists. The media is playing the gallery in all the cases. They are playing with emotions and poisoning the minds of young people. There are a lot of misguided youth & children NAXALITES killing innocent people but no one flashes these NEWS. 50 policemen were killed brutally in Chattisgarh just Where is rediff..or for that matter any other channel? With all due contempt to the terrorist who are muslims...let me add the few fingues from Union Home Ministry Annual Report 783 people have been killed in terrorist strikes in the north-east alone. And a total of 56 bomb attackes in 2006/ 38 bomb strikes till now in 2007 have been carried out by CPI-Maoists/other extremist factions. Please think about this. By only targetting Muslims..we are alienating more misguided youths towards a wrong path. Let us not blame one and all !

The politically motivated maoists Naxals are killing in the name of socially neglected lot. Whereas so called religion which claims it is for a better human standards taking these political killers as an example and even excelling them is not justifiable. If their religion has been humiliated they could react but not social backwardness and financial backwards. Like others they should work harder better and educate themselves or train themselves for better living conditions. Not training in the terrorist teachings and attacks which will never lift them from the social backwardness.

A police team examining the records of Kafeel who studied his engineering in the State, found grave deficiencies in his college certificates with his caste being mentioned as Hindu in the engineering college.
The police are also examining reports that the father of the Ahmed brothers, Dr Maqbool Ahmed, was incarcerated in the Bangalore Central jail during the Emergency for 18 months because of his links with thebanned Jamaat-e-Islami.
A police team has gone to the native place of Dr Maqbool Ahmed in Hassan district, which he left 40 years ago to pursue his medical education.
