Has this guy ever been out of his house.. His last comment that not all of the crew were "white Americans"??? Obviously he's been too involved with his dancing and choreographing..he's definitely "on" something..and, no, I'm not referring to the Nimitz... Rediff just picked up a random guy off the boat..especially as seems no one from such a first-rate news site as Rediff got invited... Wait..did I say "first-rate news site"...sorry, got confused - maybe I'm "on" something as well...
I'm amazed these cities on seas manage to stay afloat despite their size and weight. Having seen several ships on exhibition so far, and having keenly watched many programs on Discovery and so forth, I feel we should truly acknowledge these man-made wonders. It's another story that these are high-precision killing machines. Anyway, Astad Deboo, you are one lucky guy to have been on board a fully-comissioned war ship..!
I am a career sailor and I was wondering which speed boat helped you cover 50 kms in 30 mins!!! that makes it clock a 100KMPH. Please let us know so we too can enjoy a ride on this amazing speed boat which to the best of the industry's knowledge does NOT exist !! cheers

Boss, There are enough speed boats out there who can easily cover 100km in an hour.....
You could see many production and commercially available boats here....
http://www.boatowners.com/speed_boats.htm
For example entry lever Superboat's new 21-foot Millennium is capable of 70MPH itself. with no real turbo engines....

Yes - but rogi, you moron, I seriously doubt the USN or whoever would take a group of third-rate journos/fake artistic types on a superboat to the Nimitz.. Get a life a$$h@le..

actually it was parked 2km of shore. I dont know what the reporter is talking about, even then 30mins does sound pretty weird for a speed boat. May be he was high on something. hehe..
When the author was squeezing to take his position in the front, why hasnt he posted a long shot say from a 100m distance of the huge ship known to be of 23 storey height, would have interested the readers much more than the basket ball court or other snaps which does not make sense while describing the 4 acre sized ship.
