You should first know the basic difference between Separatism and Non-violence. Also go through the history where you will find whether Tibet(Buddhism) existed independently from China(Confuse).

There is no difference between vilent separatism and non-violent separatism whether it is in J & K (Islamic Terrorists), in Assam (ULFA) or in China or in Sree Lanka.

Dear His Holiness, My family and I wish you a very happy birthday. May you live long to put some peace in this terrifying world. People like you put smiles back on our faces. It is very heartening and amazing to know that you have been fighting the Chinese non-violently from a foreign land for the past 50 years or so. This entire world is behind you. As somebody has already pointed out, everyone on this discussion board has posted good intentions only. This is a great example of the fact that non-violence wins hearts. Your thoughts are more powerful than the most sophisticated weapons of today. Long live the Dalai Lama
