Rediff is involved in providing untenable excuses, like oft-repeated Gujrat riots (willingly omitting that about 60 people were roasted alive by RoPers).
Anyhow, there is no dearth of excuses for terrorists. The saving grace is that they feel compelled to use excuses despite the fact the god does not feel it necessary for the mere existence of kafirs is a big oppression on muslims.

Agreed, no religion preaches hatred, violence and killing innocents. But why is terrorism so widespread among muslims only? Its because the holy teachings of Islam have been mis-interpreted by some religious fanatics for their selfish motives. There is only one God and his meesage to his children is about love, patience and tolerance

mas, While the religion may profess peace the practitioners are interpreting it differently. So better let the violent religious leaders of the "religion of peace" better read the book to alter the ways to peaceful co-existence, rather than hegemonic and bigoted tendencies.

Nobody told you to alter the holy book. Its the one-track reading of the book that is the problem. The book is always taken in letter and not in spirit. That shows the intellectual bankruptcy of the thinking muslim.

There are some muslim youth that have categorized Gods in 3.0,2.0,1.0 and 0.0.Let me tell u...God is not web with different versions.And atleast we dont make fun of God by giving such comments. If a wrong tape can misguide any muslim...then i pity what they have learned from their holy book since childhood is a waste.

Do u know everytime someone triggers violence in the name of religion how much hurt and pain they are causing to God?
If it is true that showing Video tapes can induce hatred towards the community he was dreaming to live with. If yes , then he skipped few more tapes like Lal masjid incident in paksitan( Thank god lal masjid is in not in INDAI), He should have shown how aurengzeb forced, I repeat FORCED ppl to get converted.He should have shown the tapes of Bangladeshi muslims coming to India , marrying Indain girls & walk back saying talak. Then it si quite possible that he would have cooled down & again went back to his basci working for the community he LIVED IN.Hey i forgot to mention something,In gulf conuntries for the same crime the punishment is different depending upon your country FROM U BELONG. That means if u r egyptian then u r free to most of the crime whereas if are happen to be INDIAN / PAKI / BANLADESHI ( HINDI / MUSLIM ) ONLY god CAN HELP U OUT. So no pointing to fight for ISALM. What these guys have done is really bad. As Indians they should not have done this. If they were so bothered about their religion and brotherhood why didn't they think about their Indian nationality. In India we have this rare phenomenon of coexistance where people from different religious faith co exist. I really wonder why didn't they think about this thing and why didn't they bring their Indianness before their religious beliefs?

Sikh terrorism was in existence before 1984. So, to claim sikh terrorism started after 1984 is factually incorrect but if you feel happy that you have justified, you may feel so. But thats not the TRUTH !!
Sikh Terrorism was instigated by Pakistan (ISI) to cut-off Punjab from India & thereby claiming Kashmir. But the plan didn't work sadly.
Militancy & Terrorism will never achieve the goals for which strive for. At the best they can hurt but will never change the policies of any country nor people' way of living.

if terrorism is born out of watching CDs about injustice and abuse, by today every indian should have been a terrorist. Reason being, we were abused by many group of foreingers starting from moughals to bristish for centuries. With our hard work today we gaining back our respect in the world stage. Every individual in india irrespective of religion should recognish him/her as an indian first, rest like religion, language should be secondary. So when thinking to do some malecious deeds within or outside india, should think first about the impact of their deeds on their fellow indians.
