It is a police procedure all over the world to take thumb/palm impression of an arrested person. In the USA palm impression is taken. Question of being educated or unedcated does not arise here. This for profiling a criminal. Obviously, these students are being considered as criminals.

Hay Tester, you forgot to test onething. First see if he is a student at all. Do you really believe the guys who are holed up in Masjid are students?
I really wonder how many true students does Pakistan have.
I feel we should not judge the religion based on the few radicals.The religous extremist are everywhere.They were existed in the history.
Islam Extremist are currently on focus.That doesnt mean islam is not the right path of way.
Cleric and Religious readers always misguided and misinformed the deciples.
I read in history many islamic spiritual leaders who gave many good thing to society and tried to remove the inner darkness of people.Example Hazrat Nizamuddin Awlia (d. 1325 A.D.) who lived in delhi and he one of the famous sufi saint.
Sufism is a mystic tradition within Islam and encompasses a diverse range of beliefs and practices dedicated to divine love and the cultivation of the heart.
So what my point....dont just blame religion of everything...there are bad people using religion as a medium of earning money and getting into power.
if the people are really making trouble to the humanity based on religion they are really the good follower and they are threat to the society.

many people who pass there comments here are either sick r psychic like sitaram yechuri for hinduism and epsilon for islam ..... der seems to be dey have lost der prescence of mind and humainity.... its very disgusting to read comments here...
