Thats food for thought. But how do you interpret the fact that most terrorists are from one particular religion?

you are right in one sense, but what would you comment on those people who supports terrorist activities like 9/11 7/7 and more than 50% of your so called religion support these cowardly activities according to survey all over the muslim world. ask people around the world that who is causing trouble all over? please interpret and do not pretend.

I think we will have to discuss any issue without partiality.Almost all right thinking people will agree that right wing so called Hindu leaders are fuelling the fire only by Bombay /Gujrat riots, babri Masjid demolition etc.If we will keep dragging centuaries old facts then belive me this action/reaction will also not stop. Our Leaders must not think with narrow minds, they should not think about their vote banks only.Unless they stop of these Hindu/muslim/sikh politics, this chaos will also continue b'cos action /reaction is Natural. So leaders/ordinary people must create a atmosphere of mutual understanding, feeling for other person's sorrow.
It is surprisng that everyone is saying what a shy and decent guy this man is / was as he knew him. Without prejudice, I would only say that infiltrators do not go about wearing badges or with blazing tattoos proclaiming their purpose. Behring, one of the best German operatives who was instrumental in ferreting out and passing along info that helped German subs destroy the important Royal Navy base of Scapa Flow had mingled with the local populace for few years and was considered a worthy patriotic citizen. He quietly slipped out to Germany too and was duly felicitated by Admiral Canaris, his spymaster.
We must realise that these secret agents are human beings too and in all probability also love their families, and thus would not like them to come to any harm; so the less they know the better. Also, in many communities, women are not encouraged to ask their husbands too much about what they do to earn their livelihoods, so they being ignorant about the husbands' activities is an acceptable possibility.
The Haneef family's reaction that he was targetted because he was a Muslim seems too stereotyped, though. He wasn't the only Muslim around, so many of them around, why was he caught? Just because he was a Muslim? What about the other few thousand Muslims living in the same city? Sorry folks, yeh baat kuch hajam nahi hui!

You are spot on. I don't know why our media always glorifies some specific cast whenever they are involved in crime.
this is really funny , why becos of one culprit , there will be any slience , we dramatize the situation so much , dont know why , use so harsh words , a culprit is a culprit. what school or community he went to should not matter. So many ppl from MIT , IIT , IIM , Harvard are involved in economic/other crimes
