Pakistan became independent while emergency like conditions prevailed. If one General gives up uniform another General takes over. Or Musharraff declares himself Field Marshal and and rule it with U S support. People of Pakistan are born to suffer.
I am a bit surprised by the tone of Sheela's report. Why is she asking the question if Mush will declare emergency in Pakiland? Going by her record of her previous reports about India-Pakistan piss-process, and her interviews with thise who are opposed to India and her interests, whe should be in good books of Mush. Given that, she should have a definite answer to the very question she is posing in this article.
And, as a rejoinder, I have a question for her: Does she have the guts to go to Pakiland, and interview those who are affected by these recent upheaval, and tell them that they are violating human rights? And also tell them that Islam is all about piss and love and brotherhood? And while she is at it, she should also take Shabanas, Arundhatis, Khans, Setalvads, etc. with he on her entourage? More the merrier!

I hope Musharaff stays in control with a bamboo in his behind with its other end in Washington. If Musharaff goes and fundamentalist muslims (like there is any other kind ... LOL) take over, we could have a major problem sitting in our neighborhood.

Its mentors, US, UK and some parts of the WEST, along with the administration, Pakistan, Afganistan and others in middle east and other Islamic part of the world has to suffer.
