BMC, MMDRA SHOULD START A FLOOD RAFTING COURSE EVERY MONSOON. WHY ARE THEY WASTING TIME AND MONEY OF MILLONS OF CITIZENS IN CLEANING THE DRAINS THAT CANNOT HANDLE THE FLOOD WATERS. CITIZENS OF MUMBAI SHOULD STOPS PAYING THE MUNCIPAL TAXES.

It is pathetic situation, no control over that. Gov. must sake all of the responsible officers and all affected citizens should stop paying taxes, unless situations get improved and stable. All of the position irrespective of dept required good people to tackle situation and provide quick solutions.

yeah, stop paying taxes, mobilise protests. or else, the mumbaikars fully deserve floods. how can they be so mute and blind year after year ?
IN ALL THE NEXT ELECTIONS,THE SO CALLED PEOPLES REPRESENTATIVES SHOULD BE ASKED TO BE GIVEN A REPORT AS TO WHAT HAVE THEY HAVE DONE TO PREVENT FLOODING IN THE RESPECTIVE AREAS.THE FAILED REP SHOULD BE SHOWN THE EXT DOOR.

people of mumbai should completly bycotte the elections. and pepole should start mass agitation against corrupt officers and ministers. mumbai is facing the flooding situation every year and these mayors , ministers and officers are on tour of usa,uk. our cm wants mumbai to be shanghai but he is not aware of the capacity of the drainage system.

good point. they are not doing basic thingsright, but they want to tour the world. it is a disgrace. subject them to a public quiz, as to what they learnt from the tour. if they dont reply with some worthwhile anser fire them.
1) who are Politicians? 2) who has chosen to Politicians ? answer of both is we. We are not choseing a good Politicians, that way this is happening. now stop on blaming on Politicians.
Its govt. duty to provide proper infra-strcuture to common people (as they pay taxes for the same)..but at the same time its citizens also duty to keep their city clean..for e.g. dont throw away things on road (put them in dust bins) so that those will not block the drainage lines, try to avoid traffic jams (follow the rules) so as to reach home safely and earlier, lastly but most important.. if our local Netas are not listning.. then bit them and throw them in salty (sea) water.. so as to take revenge and help them learn a lesson..:)
