KUALA LUMPUR: Two Malaysian Hindu men on Thursday said they were battling Islamic authorities after being forcibly separated from their Muslim wives in cases highlighting growing religious tensions here.
Suresh Veerapan issued a plea for help after his wife Revathi Masoosai and their baby were forcibly removed from their home and she was put in Islamic rehabilitation camp. He said Revathi, an ethnic Indian and practising Hindu born to Muslim parents, was sent to the camp for 100 days in January by Islamic authorities in western Malacca state.
Her detention was extended on Wednesday by a sharia court by 80 days, Suresh said, adding Islamic authorities in March had also taken the 16-month old baby from him and given the child to his Muslim in-laws.

i have had muslim friends all through my life.. and have stayed together with them in the same society.... i haven't had any problems whatsoever.. n then the problems that were faced in the society.. were equally created by hindu, muslims, sikhs n christians...
its not about naming one particular group of peoples.. its stereotyping without any reason... there are good n bad personalities in all societies, in all religions n in all countries.....
but finger pointing like this and stereotyping is the long historical habit of asians, and atleast i can bet about it on Indians

Thank you! Ms. Haneef. You know I always wanted to know what Quran really teach. But I never did may be because I never read Quran. But hats off to you. At least one Muslim had guts to come in front and say what the real interpretation is. Hope there are many more Muslims like you out there and only hope we all live together peacefully with some mutual respect.
Being educated these people must exercise their wisdom in helping the mankind rather than destoying it on some assumed ideologies. Can they show a single soul however much exalted that it was during its life time , came back to narrate its experience in the other world. We live on age old beliefs to guide our lives and do not go head and foot for it in committing crimes. All these educated fools are misled by religious extremists. I pity them ... Truth is God and conscience is its place of workship. You can see it in any form either in a church, or a mosque or a temple and for that matter in every aspect of nature. Let God (in whatever name that you call/worship) bring sanity to humanity.We are wasting our precious/precarious resources in desturction in the name of religion, hunting exremists in the name of war on terror instead of helping fellow humans dying in millions due to poverty. Man is now reduced to a worst form of beast and can not be compared with even with wild animals who live with nature.

I have come across so many muslims in this board ........and the theme is same........as soon as a terrorist activity happens and is linked to a muslim...............they start blaming RSS / VHP / BJP / USA / UK........everything under the sun......except islam..........I think it is time for them to introspect.........and change to fit into the mainstream all over the world..........and I feel educating them is not the answer.......as clearly seen in this terrorist attack.....he was a doc.Osama is a civil engg...so forth.......
I want to ask them all - can u tell me how many bomb blasts can be attributed to RSS / VHP / BJP all over the world......then I will give u a list of bombings done by islamic radicals......
Modi - Gujarat roit would not have happened if there was no Godhara.......
USA / UK - 9/11 happened first .....and then USA started atatcking Afghanistan.......as far as US was using them to fight USSR - they were bieng payed by USA to fight ...and if they did not want to fight USA could not force them to fight ech other......
In India - noone revers Chota Rajan in Hindus.......but in Muslims Dawood and Abu Salem r treated like god (in Azamgarh in UP where Abu Salem belons - based on a PTI report).

Their was no proof, what happened in godhra that was done by any muslim. It might be Mr Modi who has done it for the sampthy from the people of gujrat. & the police didn't helped the muslims, The muslim Men where put behind bars & the muslim women where killed, raped & then burned. Again What happened in 11/9 in USA their was no proof that Mr Osma Bin Laden did it. So how we can say that what happened in Gujrat or in USA was done by muslims. Ok, if 9/11 attack was done MR Osma Bin Laden, Why Iraq was attacked by USA & its bloody allies, an excuse of WMD's & hanged Martyr Saddam Hussain, then where are those WMD's. As recently BBC reported that no WMD's where found in Iraq & when Bloody American's kill innocent iraq's civilin's that's war on terror & when the iraqi rebels attack thme & kills them they are terrorists. USA & its allies have to pay for all what they have done other countries. Why USA is supporting Isreali's When they are the occupier's of palistanain land. The USA want to rule whole world by destroying the other nations. Why USA is not doing any thing to pakistan, Because he is financing to the terrerist of kashmir otherwise they have pressurised pakistan to stop all the inflitration.

I strongly condemn the charges made against Islam. Islam never preached terrorism and Islam should not be blamed for some activities of terrorists who are muslims. Why do you link terrorism with Islam? Islam never asked muslims to kill people in the name of Jihad. When the non-muslims attack muslims, it is the duty of muslims to do war against non-muslims to protect Islam and muslims. This is only called as Jihad and this is what Islam says very clearly. Not anything else. If you people don't know, please read authentic books on Islam and don't simply blame Islam for all terrorists activities.
If the muslim rulers in India had done any mistakes, it is their own personal mistakes and not the mistake of Islam. Again I am repeating please don't blame Islam for what muslims did and doing and will do. I personally feel Islam is not practiced in full and true spirit by majority of muslims. But, it is not the fault of Islam. It is the fault of muslims.
I strongly condemn the pervert comments made by Mr Sitaram Yechuri about our beloved prophet (PBUH). There is nothing wrong for a husband to keep his head on the laps of his wife even when she is menstruating. It is their personal relationship and understanding. This shows that Islam has not separated women from entering into house when they are on menses unlike other religions. Islam has banned having intercourse with the menstrauting wife but permitted all other sorts of intimacy. Islam has set clear cut rules for everything.
