It is sad that such things are happening. If these are happenings due to stress, govt should at once try find out a suitable solution.We have to stop it at any cost. Army men deployed in such risky areas should not kept more than a year in such places. There should be rotation. After all they are also human beings, have families. Govt should find out a lasing solution for Kashmir with Pakistan and other interested parties. This can not go on and go on.
Lady officers want to be treated like male officers.However, once they get married they want to be posted in the same station where their husbands are posted . This may not be possible due to various reasons which amy not be seen in correct perspective by affected ladies. In this case the husband of the lady was their to share her stress, which probably did`nt happen and she took extreme step. How can anyone harrass a lady when her husband is from the same organisation. Therefore making any conjectures regarding maltreatment and stress etc is not only premature but also irrelevant. Since she is an Army officer therefore is being given media attention more than in normal suicide case by a lady.

Everybody in today's world is under stress. But army personnels are strong hearted. They are strong enough to cope with the stress. They obviously don't commit suicide out of stress related problems. There must be something else and a deep probe into the case is necessary. A soldier dying to enemy's bullet is acceptable and will be honoured for his martyrdom but a soldier dying to his own bullets is totally unacceptable since it sends wrong signals.

Not surprising,in an army of 12 lacs, some stray exceptional cases may happen with some reason or other. However, best efforts should be made to make their life tensionfree.
In Indian Army,Lady officers are often asked for Sexual Favours by their superiors in order to gain a promotion,leave etc etc.This is a main reason for Suicide among Lady Officers.

let them enjoy dear... both are in need of some physical enjoyment too..right...let us not worry about such silly stray incidents like sexual favours...
i think it is all because of their insensitive senior rank officers who in the name of discipline harass the lower rank officers. the person who is posted in remote area away from family couldn't couldn't cope up with all these things ultimately suicides. a person who is socially cut off from his family needs moral support and morale booster otherwise these incidents will repeat again and again.

and also who knows whether the jawans who commit suicide know some very exploding facts about the seniors and the prevalent problems in the areas where they are posted... due to helplessness in overriding the seniors and or any other alternatives, the faithful jawans may be thinking of ending their lives then and there....
