Sir: The late running of trains has nothing to do with the rains. Late running by 6 to 8 hours is a regular feature of all trains traversing through Bihar and Eastern U P everyday.
Laloo has got carried away by all the attention he gets for the alleged profits made by the railways. In my opinion, (AND I SINCERELY HOPE I AM WRONG), the railway profit figures are all cooked up and a massive con job on the people of India. Unlike in the Private Sector, there is no timely and honest audit and with the Chara Chor around, it is too much to expect honesty in these figures of profit by the Railways.
Trains are running late. We Indians have got used to such type of news. Nothing news. Even in normal climatic conditions trains and planes are running late.
how about giving out details about train delays in all the rain affected areas across India..!! You can give this public service by announcing changed timings/cancellations/change of routes/curtailing of routes etc..
...omigosh!! so much rain.. i think we must do something abt cutting greenhouse gases... this rain i believe is a result of greenhouse gases emission....
