not really...
the discussion is abt quota system...
whether it is OBC or SC/ST doesnt matter...
one will surely have an effect on the other...

On one hand supreme court sends a notice to the center for OBC quota on the other hand it accepts reservations for SC/ST...

Even supreme court seems to be playin with the people's emotions

This is a subject t be delt with
by Ajith Kumar on Feb 01, 2007 08:17 AM  Permalink

Polititions are cautious, by not accepting to youth demand. They would not accept this as this is there prestige and if they accept the defeat, they fear the next time again somthing of this sort wud happen.
Its high time talking and trying to persuade the poltitians for this intentional act. Now its time to take actions, a march to parliment and a petition will not do. if the voice have to reach out then the entire nation should awaken.

Too Good
by Keanu Funmaker on Jan 31, 2007 07:03 PM  Permalink

This is high time that Cong stops playing this quota game... they are after special interest rates for muslims, special reservation based on caste/religion everywhere, and they call themseleves secular!!!!!

It is a crying need that our fellow countrymen realises that these guys are the blood thirsty vampires using the name/surname of 'gandhi' to attract votes. I am tired of this 'Rajiv Ki Vidhwah' and 'Indira ji ki Bahu' who refuses to accept Indian citizenship, Damn with this khandaan!!

Provide material support to downtroddens but not at the cost of merit
by pradeep agarwal on Jan 31, 2007 03:55 PM  Permalink

The quota supporters want their kith & kins to enter institutes where otherwise they can't make on merit. The reservation benefits for SC/ST has been cornered by few creamy layers & now the other group wants to have the advantage. How otherwise a community that has origin in Lord Krisna can demand for reservation? SC should prevent the nefarious designs of Sonia lead Ulta Pulta alliance by a fair ruling for all on this matter. The NGO lead by Shiv deserves all support from citizens who cares for united India.

Reservations on OBC
by Naga Pallapolu on Jan 31, 2007 03:03 PM  Permalink

Its just political Jimmik by Congress. But professional institues should not allow the same. They should challenge the govt orders in court. If it is implemented, then there is no value for the professional institutes. "AlWAYS MERIT IS POWER WHICH DRIVES THE COUNTRY NOT CASTICISM".

The politicians treat the national resources as their baapdaada's jagirs.
by chanakya maurya on Jan 31, 2007 02:55 PM  Permalink

And generously distribute those resources very rigorously but in nonsensical and farcical ways.

The aim is to grab the power and stay there and do injustice to the 100 crore people of Bharat Varsh.

Anit Quota PIL
by manthan mhatre on Jan 31, 2007 02:18 PM  Permalink

Good that some institution still listens to normal citizens and cares for their rights.
The basic principles of democracy are getting crushed with such rules for reservations. My opinion abt reservations, if reqd, is as per the population proportion.
