I read some comments and was compelled to add this!!!
In his address to the Parliament in 2003,The then PRime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee had said that the MoU on border trade through Nathu La in Sikkim was a significant development and "with this a process had started by which Sikkim would cease to be an issue in India-China relations."
i fully agree with u i feel they r reptiles who ultimately eat there on kids they r here to mint money nothin else they r the one who promoted gandhiasm and later corruption til 1991 we were under huge debts just becuase of these people JWAHAR lal nehru is the one who could had solved kashmir issue but he didnt had guts 4 tht plz trust anyone but not congress people

I donot agree with the opinion,however suggest to do more work for the nation,we are the tax payer,with our money pepole are ennjoying that is the mistake done by the govt.in the country those are eligible they should pay Incone tax,we shouldnot blame any particular party, good and bad are every where,we should reform our own house then automaticly every thing will b ok.
When pacifists rule that's what happens. Congress is a pacifist. Give reservation to muslims. Give reservation to OBCs. Give concessions to pakistan. Give concession to china. Give concession to illegal bangla immigrants because they are muslims and dont want to offend indian muslim.
Congress politicians are a spineless bunch that who are only concerned about their own success and power and have nothing to do with protecting our country, people, culture and traditions from long term or short term threats.
they are the worst of the worst!. Dont reply to me saying that they did this and that!. Others would have done that too.
Other political parties are bad too, but not as bad as congress. Atleast, they have some agenda of looking at india and indians as a whole and not like congress which divides us everyway!.

Pacifist? You want India to take on China's armed forces???? Even the US will have a tough time winning against them (they may, but the damage will be so bad it's just not worth it). BTW, concessions to bangla immigrants was more the handiwork of CPI/CPI(M) than Congress...
The charges of Mr Bhandari are correct. Every person who has some knowledge of security, can see threat involve in opening of Nathu La. The decision taken by UPA government is unplanned and without taking into notice consequences of the decision.

India is Nuclear nation and no country in whole world has guts to attack India as war. This all internal fight that they can use as weapon and they taking advantage of this. Because we are Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, North Indian, south Indian, east Indian, Mumbaikar, Delhite but not at all INIDIAN. What? The parliament attack took place when the BJP was in power. A number of bomb blasts took place (Bombay, delhi etc) when BJP was in power. Think objectively... just because you like BJP is no reason to make unsubstantiated claims. Who says ISI is getting stronger? You?
Mr.Nar Bahadur Bhandari's charges against the present chief minister may be true and could be investigated. However, if as he says approach roads have een built all over Sikkim to the Capital (where the PM resides it would be an indirect tribute. Especailly so in region like Sikkik where there were few roads.
In any case to allege that the Central government fell a pray to the machination of the CM in the opening of the Pass displays a strange lack of maturity. And he has done this as a president of the Congress there. Does the Cogress feel so? One day or the other the Pass had to be reopened.
Mr Bhandari's complaint about non-avaiability of import export licences in Sikkim itself is genuine and government may look into it. However, most of the cross border trade may be only for goods of daily consumption and perhaps may not require such a licence.
