The relations between two countries are decades long.Russia has been co-operative to us in difficult times when we were lacking good infratructure,technology etc.Russians have helped us in strategic sectors like defence, space,atomic energy etc.No doubt they also have gained a lot from this but every relation needs some base to develope.After disintegration of Soviet union and emergence of India as global power,it has become imperative on part of both the countries to strengthen their ties further negating the hegemonial attitude of US.After all a friend in need is a friend indeed.Long live Indo-Russian friendship!
I guess first India should stop them from spreading their Mafia, drugs and prostitution in Goa. When will we stop licking asses and start kicking them????

Do you know the biggest source of drugs in India?? Do your homework before showing your ignorance. If you want to just say something for the sake of saying it, you're better off using one of those blogs that nobody hardly ever visits.
On one side the Indo-Russia relations are touching new height in Defence coperation the other side people to people contact is at a level where still the Russian consider India is a country of poor, snake charmers etc. The India shining story is limited to veru few people and Brand India doesn't appeal and exist in the younger generation, which has not seen the Indo-USSR golden period. Its high time to improve the Economic and people to people ties at war front to improve the image of the country. Both counteries media should play aggresive role to improve this situation.
