Is rediff primarily a news portal or a user driven discussion board? Or to be precise - the section where this article came - is it clsoer to a news section or a discussion forum. If former the title is misleading coz you wouldn't want to be looking at the top 5 headlines in your country and see a title like this. If latter the title is ok since opinionated comments are what drives most discussions and people take it with a pinch of salt.

Lousy News
by Cadaba Vasanth on Jan 22, 2007 06:14 PM  Permalink

Some of these news should be censored by the Editorial and not announced at all. Waste of time. Not worth reading or reacting.
It shows how cheap the news media has become. Getting any article to be published for publicity sake. Let us think ahead and progress.

Horrible Title...
by anshul mathur on Jan 22, 2007 06:05 PM  Permalink

Horrible title to one of the greatest interviews ever taken. How can a portal like Rediff use such bad title as a selling point for such a beutifull conversation. I hope people at rediff change their ways of selling something that good. BE PROFESSIONAL REDIFF.

Rediff is too cheap
by sumej c on Jan 22, 2007 05:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rediff is too cheap to do anything to attract attentions. They will put irrelevant or completely misleading heading to the articles. They dont follow the ethics in journalism.

I absolutely agree. Its cheap and I feel like being trapped like a mouse. They r loosing credibility on news reporting...just like star news...they should learn from CNN IBN on responsibility of a press

Cheers,

Shiva

Excellent Insight for us second generation
by Bipin Nair on Jan 22, 2007 05:32 PM  Permalink

Its a great story of strategy and intelligence well told by a great admiral of that time. Editor has picked on a title which is an insult to the person being interviewed. We can do without this kind of stuff in rediff.

wrong tittle
by Sivadathan Komath on Jan 22, 2007 04:29 PM  Permalink

Its a wrong tittle for a right article!!
Just I pressume the writer or who ever suggest the tittle may be for atract more readers.
Even put any other tittle the content was good readable, and many may read.
Sellecting this tittle who ever responsible is not being done his/her duty in correct way. Its regretable.
