Instead of encouraging merit, let us go backword and create more quotas for our poor(Rich) lobby. With this we should be able to beat the China's Missile Programme within next 200-300 years.
We should put forth demand to china and reserve our right through OBC Quota for India as a Whole!!!.

Yeah the Politians kids study in foreign institutions so quotas doesnt bother them.
So why not have a quota PM / President and so on. Lets have a 50% reservation in Parliament too and some relaxation in the number of votes for the quota candidates...whattasay?
While China has sent its missiles to space our officials making statements from America! What the ... is he doing in America? Why so many officials visiting Amrika? To see their daughters and sons.... in the name of making official trip? These kind of guys nearing retirement taking tough jobs as a parting gift will screw this country dearly.

Your are right man! We a have a bunch of ministers who even dont know what they are doing..This is the only reason why we dont even have cryogenic technology.. we still launch satellites from france or russia.. They make money..Pakistan is now no where near development..As other fellow guy mentioned , india must not no way support america.. we as a nation is powerful and we have potential to grow.. Basically america need another super power in asia to support them and the only potential country is India.. India must have a good plan about..
Well, a bit of pat to the government for at least making clear its intentions to meet this threat. China is a real enemy, never mind all the commie-controlled media-sponsored false euphoria of the second round of "Hindi-Chini bhai bhai." There is no need to fret and lose sleep. the technology to destroy stellites using missiles is not new, and neither is China a pioneer of technology. India, though a slow entrant, is on track. we've recently conducted an anti-missile test successfully. There is need to speed up research and development in this arena, and cut the crap as far as "friendly and peaceful relations with China" are concerned. Time also to court Taiwan and step up pressure on Tibet. That will happen only under a nationalist government, not under this bunch of pipsqueaks. Jaganniwas Iyer
Well, it's the Americans who are pressing the panic button, because they rely on satellite applications of the military so much. These days India is forced to take a stand based on America's response. The americans say missile attacks on satellites can give rise to debris that can damage other satellites. And looking at the damage their total and irresponsible consumerism has created here,on the planet,to voice their fears about some satellite in outer space being damaged is ridiculous. It was a country which tested an atomic bomb on humans, not once, but twice on an all but defeated force.Paranoia drives their diplomacy.
RE:So why doesnt India make an ASAT (Anti Satellite) Missile ?

Would an IITian or a top scientist like to work in DRDO? A govt. official once talking about corporate governance, when being asked why an IITian should join you? answered yeah sorry we cant afford you .....
