Why mention his caste
by Abhay Kulkarni on Jan 17, 2007 10:55 AM  Permalink

This is a real bane on our system that in every thing we bring in our caste....What is the need to mention that he is a "DALIT"...u only add fuel to fire here....by inviting trouble from all quarters....Ppl will get a chance to say that it took 60yrs after Independence to get the first Dalit cji....All this is nonsence...The man has got it on his merit...and mentioning his "CASTE" here will only sully his image.

He came up solely on merit.....

This man did not come up through the reservation route. He came up through Merit. are the upper castes noticing it? Even a dalit can achieve the best without reservation.

exactly my point. So, why have reservations at all? This reservation stuff has gotten to be a joke, a circus and a vote bank for the corrupt politicians.

The Lotus glows up conveniently, eventhough the mud is very mutch in deep.
by Ramakrishna Panicker on Jan 17, 2007 09:30 AM  Permalink

Yes, Lotus flower glows up above the water eventhough the pond is very deep and the mud is at bottom. And, Almighty blessed him in all respects pleasing on his hard works. All the reasons we see before this, we have to count as a pointing post to his success.
