Conquering new frontiers
by Suresh Kumar on Jan 10, 2007 10:19 PM  Permalink

Dear ISRO Chairman Shri Madhavan Nair

Namaskar.

This morning, ISRO has successfully launched 4 satellites using
PSLV. This is a day of immense pride and joy to your team as well
as to all Indians. Months of team effort, braving all odds, your
team has put India into an elite league of nations to master this
technology. Most importantly, your team has pooh-poohed the
negative criticisms that were abuzz with the failure of the GSLV
launch.

Until now, ordinary civilians would read the news or watch news
snippets about the successful launch. Today, this was carried
live by Pothigai TV well. It was a unique opportunity as everyone
watching the launch live via the TV could imagine themselves to
be the person who announces the famous countdown series from 10
to liftoff. Watching it live via the TV and hearing that the
launch went well, were thrilling moments, which makes one feel
proud of being an Indian.

Great team work and great strides made in the frontiers of space,
technology and science.

The entire nation is proud of you and your team, Sir.

Thank You.

Regards

Suresh
