What is their idea !
by kenbee on Oct 28, 2008 07:54 PM  Permalink

AASU came into being with its main issue of Bangladeshi infiltration. They formed the goverment as renamed political party as AGP and ruled Assam and did nothing. They created parallel force ULFA. They were three-faced, AASU-ULFA-AGP. ULFA not happy with the govenment and talk of soverign Assam. But the main issue of Bangladeshi infiltration lost is base totally. Now these people taking shelter in Bangladesh and killing its own people in Assam. Actually what they want to do?

The true ULFA
by Arun Nair on Sep 18, 2007 07:57 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Yes, it is true that the ULFA leadership is heavily under the influence of enemies of Indian progress. The Hindu element in the ULFA's ethnic cleansing tactics cannot be ignored now. They are showing their true colours, while projecting themselves as true champions of the Assamese cause. Fortunately, the rest of the country has shown the maturity and wisdom not to be intimidated by these villains who have no mother country to speak of, as they stay put in Bangladesh and enjoy the luxury of whatever comes in the way of traitors. They have even left their biological mothers here, to embrace unknown mothers in the land of zealots. What is the type of dignity that they have in such an existence? They will cater to anyone, who can give them the despotic pleasures that they are looking for. Forget their love for Assam, they are making life hell for their so called subjects living in Assam now. And they should thank their stars that the so called Hindi speaking people have the vision to see through their game. These are people who are living in the jungle, and the jungle law is what they understand. They should not be expected to behave like civilized human beings, and need to be treated like wild animals. The security forces, of whom we Indians are proud of, are their enemies. In fact, in many northeastern states, the favourite India bashing slogan is, 'Go back Indian Army'. That is proof enough of what these so called revolutionaries think of India and the idea called India. Crazy

The activities of ULFA makes all Assamese especially those living outside Assam hang their heads in shame. But the government of India has also adopted a very casual attitude to the ULFA and the North east. This organisation could have been crushed years back but lack of political will prevented it. As Mr Raman pointed out, the silent invasion by Bangladeshis(mostly of the talibanised hue) to Assam, Bengal and eastern Bihar over the past half century has now reached a decisive phase where they now plan to make this entire region a part of greater Islamic Bangladesh. But Govt. of India is least bothered.

Watch all facts..

Is India sharing it's resources equally?small states like Assam, kerala etc are also there. How much opportunities and other resources are alloting to these states? What is their representation in our parliament?
Bigger states like UP,maharashtra,Bihar etc are given much more because of their strength in votes. What about other states those who have lesser representations?
So if all need equal opportunities everywhere ,the same principle must be there at the time of budgets and resource allotments.
Otherwise it will be something like taking from the beggers....

Where are the figures & facts? How much funds given to UP & Bihar vis-a-vis Assam? What is the area & population of these states? You seems under influence of Ulfa & their Bangladeshi patrons!Go, study and them comment! Also Bihar & UP are not better than Assam in terms of development! What exactly you want?If it is govt's fault then elect better governments in your state!Whatever small funds(as you claim) your state is getting is being eaten up by your own people!

A sell out of India starting from Assam
by on Jan 10, 2007 09:04 AM  Permalink

In India things that are politically correct are nothing but fooling and deception. The politicians have consistently fished in troubled waters. Is politically correct to allow implanting Bangaldeshees in so many districts bordering India? They are already a mojority and they have succeeded in making mini- palestines. These evil politicians want votes and won't mind trading anything for that. Even the Supreme court declared these acts of Bangladeshis aggression.

These evil politicans cannot govern India and hence the British should be recalled immediately!

ULFA
by on Jan 10, 2007 07:55 AM  Permalink

It seems the government is talikng strong actions against ULFA right now. However, the war on ULFA should be extended to the source of the problem, to Bangladesh. We should not/can not wage war on that country, but India can definitely start playing tit for tat game, as she is doing now in Baluchistan (see how the Pakis are complaining about our consulates in Kandhar and jalalabad?).

Dear Anil Sharma,
Couldn't have said it better. The remedy to festering sores like Pakistan and Bangladesh is making India a full-fledged Hindu Rashtra, with a clear, uncompromising, no-nonsense attitude.
Yours sincerely
Jaganniwas Iyer

There are many muslims in India who are as proud indian and as nationalistic as you and I are. You are hurting their feelings here. Lets talk about Bangladesh and Pakistan, countries tha are our enemies. Lets point out who are the elements in India that support, directly or indirectly, these 2 countries. You maybe surprised to find out so may hindus do that daily.
