Peace treaty
by Babu on Jan 08, 2007 10:06 PM  Permalink

Dear Rajeev,

Dr. Singh opined the majority of Indians as well as the Pakistani people dream. In my opinion, we should open up the borders and whole heartedly welcome our brothers and sisters of the other side. After all we are one. There is no difference between us. I personally wish that one day India, Pakistan and Bangladesh will become one nation and the history will be rewritten. I am praying for my wish to come true. I strongly believe that this will be he wish for majority the people from both sides.

I see so many instance of irresponsible statement by leaders at higher level, it looks like they get viral problem as they move up.

Be practical rather than be ideal - India has enough problem to deal with THAN your sentimental problem.

Dr. Singh

You are not being practical. It is true our great grandfathers lived the way you know. But those were the times when the world was not so complicated as today. I think we are better of with securing our borders than opening them up.

Think before you jump is my advice.

Raj

PM hopes for peace treaty
by Kunuthur Srinivasa Reddy on Jan 09, 2007 03:41 AM  Permalink
The realize the dream of Dr Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India, it becomes imperative to strengthen SAARC in letter and spirit to such a magnitude that the rest of the world nations should shiver to think of nibbling in to the affairs of SAARC nations. It is not difficult to achieve if these natiolns draw up and faithfully implement the common minimum programme to drive out hunger of all forms of life. In this context, India has immense potential to lead the rest of the SAARC nations, which need to translated in to action.
