Congrats to the Intelligence and the Bangalore police who had put there efforts in nabbing the terrorist. They did a good job before the Terrorist form a network in the city and create havoc. We need to catch them and punish harshly at the initial stages it self. Even public should support the police at all the stages.

I completely agree with you. Generalizing is a dangerous step. However, we are not seeing educated Muslims coming forward and helping the community in joining the main stream. Even IAS officers, western learned people like Syed Shahabuddin toe the fundamentalist line. As long as there is backwardness in Muslim community more and more people will turn into terrorists as it is easy to brainwash them. Of 15% Muslim population even if I assume 5% of them are moderates and educated - tell me what are the doing to eradicate social evils like triple tallak or super powers to mullahs etc .. We ought to see people like Raja Ram Mohan Roy or Dayanand Saraswathi in Muslim Community.

Even I guess you are educated. Tell me from how long you have been reading newspapers? If not from many years, then just go back to history and check the records... you will find it. Records speak themselves. Having said this, not every muslim is a bad guy...this is for the people (muslims) who do not want to live in India.
Do you know, in every country if a muslim person arrives in... he would be looked as "T" at the very first sight. This is the image of muslims have in others. So please correct millions of people (muslims) then we (I, Deepak and other) will shut our mouth automatically.

You must correct yourself --- "Stop attrocities against Indian Momineens as in Gujarat & Bombay etc... " else for every action there would be a reaction in someway.

Dear Mr.Kalim
The problem the world is facing now is extremism/terror carried out in the name of a particular religion. We all as Indians know that all muslims are not extremists and may not even support terrorists. But how to educate your people from being misled again and again?? Big muslim countries like S. Arabia, Iran etc. must conduct periodical religious conferences to educate muslim population at large and should have some authority (like Vatican on Catholics)to control all those errant mullas/ madarasas who preach extremism. Till these big muslim countries take control and streamline the activities of the entire religious community, there will be persistent problems and only the peace loving muslim population will suffer. The same is true with any other religion facing similar issues.
I hope the world will see religious tolerance and coexitence one day. After all all these religions are man-made and preach the same ultimate truth. regards vj

This clearly shows the support of the local muslims to these ultras(cowards). Fist the muslims to stop supporting (morally and indirectly) these cowards. They should start helping us to catch them as they hide under the religion within themselves.

You will start loving my religion. I m not inviting you to islam. Just read it as you read any other book to increase you knowledge. I am an Indian and i m also a proud Muslim. But i dont support any terrorist. And it really hurts when you blaim us for all wrong things which politically motivated terrosits does. It doesn't take much to see that you too are a Muslim. Deepak has only spoken the truth, you seem to have a problem accepting it. And it is not the so called 'illiterate' Muslims who indulge in this sort of thing. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the kingpin of the Sept 11 attacks hekd an MS in architecture from a US university. It's plain and simple, it's not because of illiteracy, you people have a problem with the rest of the world.

A job well done by our usually bungling police. That Pakistan hires local extremist Muslims to carry out these attacks isn't news. It's the ease with which the Pakistani terrorists are able to fake identities which is cause for concern. Also, professional people like doctors, engineers are terrorists these days, indoctrinated with hate. How can muslims expect sympathy for these guys? Why don't the moderates come out in the open and speak out? I'm not saying that its only muslims who are terrorists. terror knows no real religion, but off late it's been fundamentalist muslims who have largely been responsible.

Also it is because of sick mentality of people like u that illeterate muslims become easy targetst of terrorist. U are equally to be blamed for this situation.
