so finally the people of punjab are coming out of the emperor rule.this is a vote of change and farmers have voted to take the control out from royal palace patiala. they want someone from among themselves to rule

If there is a pit on on side there is a big ditch on the other. People of Punjab dont have much to choose from. Wish there are more parties contesting evenly. This can at least put some hold on the curruption and unruly adminstration.

having multiple parties makes the situation worse, everytime hung vidhanasabha & again new ciolation govt. Atleast now, there is a direct competetion, so the ruling party will have fear that they loose if they won't perform well..

As long as it is open ballot/direct people elected elections its not a problem, infact its better to have leaders issue based rather than party based bigots.
Thing is secret elections lead to all the problems.
