Election Not a referndum on the Centre
by Hebbar R on Feb 27, 2007 04:55 PM  Permalink

Since the Congress has fared badly, they will not concede that it was a referendum on the centre. But, had they won, what would it have been?

election debacle
by Parameswaran on Feb 27, 2007 04:49 PM  Permalink

The Central Government should understand the problems of the poor and the middle class due to the price rise, this is the reply to the government from the people and the time has come to act fast for remedial action in order to alleviate the problems of common people. Property has become beyond reach to the middle class families. Unless some concrete measure is taken, suitable reply will be given by the people in the next election.

WHO IS TO BLAME?
by krushnachandra sahoo on Feb 27, 2007 04:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Man|

Who is to blame for the result? Had the result been good, you and ur party men woul;d have thronged to Sonia aunty's residence telling that the result is due to Sonia and her leadership. Now since the reverse has come why not telling that Sonia's leadership has failed and dipped the congress. Why not blaming the economic policy of ur govt has failed to check price rise and caused dessentm, ent amoung voters.
Who is going to tale responsibility for the loss? Please answer dear Man.

Better accept the reality
by swamy on Feb 27, 2007 04:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Mr. Prime Minister, better to accept the relativity. You are rather worried about your seat than the real problem of the people. You next loss will be in Karnataka where you are not bothering on the Cauvery issue, in which Karnataka has been made scape goat to retain you seat.

More to come.....
by Rangasamy Vijay on Feb 27, 2007 04:39 PM  Permalink

Not a referendum on central government??? They will be saying this till they lose the last state and this shaggy ship will then plunge to the sea bottom. Congress has to do lot of introspection and come clean on policy matters instead of projecting its pro-minority image. Have they anytime unveiled a policy for uplifting economically poor section irrespective of their caste or community? They are busy in bridging the gap between the communities in the wrong sense of the term by denying rightful opportunities to deserving population. This is a God sent message to this party.

Cogress raj over
by gunesh marathe on Feb 27, 2007 04:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The result clearly shows that "congress raj" is over. If this result have been reverse the same PM would say that it is due to centre goverment performance and sonia leadership, but now since they lost, they are finding false reason. Time has come to throw this so called big leader sonia and PM from top post and send on long vacation. They have not done anything in 2 years, only fooling poor people.

thts right...keep dividing nation in the name of muslim appeasement or OBC reservations...n congress will see each state losing out of their hands. Even supporters will leave them. There will be no person left to take the blame of debacle. In that case, it will be interesting to see whom gandhi dynasty makes scapegoat!
