This is puerile. Next they will say that eve teasing should be termed as rape. If passed this law will be misused by women to the fullest extent to harass men. This bill should be opposed.
There is no need to include the clause of sexual assault under the purview of Rape. The world is fast changing and both men and women should be viewed with same yardstick. The assault bill should not be misused by the women for minting money and take revenge or grudge ahainst someone on occasions. This will divide the society in years to come.Rather Police and Judiciary system should be enforced for speedy investigations and fair decisions .
Its a bill which does not deserve to be passed by legislature. It appears that NCW is an institution which indulges in self-aggrandising to the extent that no one else would. If passed it would be one more law which would be subjected to abuse by the women. Please understand the changing world, where the men need such law in view of the lopsided provisions of law. No good enough fact finding machinery exists and even the courts are found to lean in favour of the women though the fact remains that 70-80% matrimonial cases that are filed before courts in this country are framed and concocted by the women just to get money in any form whatsoever. Lets condemn such a bill.
INDIA WILL BE A GREAT COUNTRY..BY ONLY EXECUTING HALF THE LAWS IT ALREADY HAS...RATHER THAN TAMERING OR EXTENDING THE EXISTING LAWS..
WHAT IS THE USE OF NEW LAWS , IF YOU CANT ENFORCE EVEN 10% OF WHAT OUR LAW BOOKS PROVIDE.
SOME WESTERN COUNTRIES HAVE DISCIPLINED CITIZENS MAINLY BECAUSE THEY ARE STRICT ABOUT ENFORCING A LAW....HERE WE BELIEVE IN COMPLICATING AN ALREADY EXISTING ONE , WHICH ALSO WILL BE SUBJECTED DIFFERENT INTEPRETATION AND NO ENFORCEMENTS...
Already the existing provisions are being misused a lot. By giving more power we should ensure that these powers are not misused. The false complaints of rape should be also be monitored and prevented seriously.
