You cant get a better example of democracy at its inefficient best. You have a government that is propped up by unconstitutional ways. You allow it to run its tenure. Towards the end the grand old party decides to challenge (what timing) the unconstitutionality of the illegal government. There is a huge debate & a farce .. the EC orders election. Does the farce stop there .. no the wily lady of Indian politics needs to add her dose of masala ... mass resignation. Congress have the balls ... throw out Mulayam if he doesnt resign. You should never have supported him in the first place and virtually encourage him to form government unconstitutionally.
We vote for a party, policies, the leader and then the individual.. The law says that if there is a mass change of party after election sit is valid otherwise iot is invalid.. But change of party means change of policy leader etc.. Hence he will lose hjis legislative post.. Otherwise politicians will misuse the rules and use money for horse trading..
