India in state of disorder
by R Singh on Feb 24, 2007 12:18 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I sometimes shudder going out of Delhi (even the capital is not safe). There's no law-order in states like UP, Haryana etc.
Basically if you are powerful and have connections you are ok, but if you are nobdy then watchout.

The state of UP needs to have central rule, the complete collapse of civic society is a stain to India's image and also more importantly it's critical to the lives of millions of Indians who live at the mercy of these criminals.

Should now PM resigns and ask his master in UK or USA where-ever they are, come forward and rule this India as they used to?
We deman president rule now what type of and who should govern the India?
As a matter of fact, we are not free yet and this socall freedom is not freedom and the system cannot answer the above question.

We dear Ravishankar,
Do you believe in justice done in India for commomman and then what is nonsense again and again to appolint a special investigation team etc.
We are not fit to rule and cannot have law and order where supporters of Extremists/terrorists are respected like Sanjay Datt etc. Justice could not been done to even big people numbering more than 100 in Mumbai Blast of Mumbai for more than 15 years ?

Rape in India
by kumar on Feb 23, 2007 09:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Yesterday there was an article about a little girl who wrote to the president asking permission to end her life because she had been raped. Today, there is a mass rape story. Why does all these barbaric things happen? Why can't police do anything about this? I am quite scared to come back to India after studies for the safety of my wife. This is not just a personal issue but a national issue. We will always be in the dark ages if we dont do something about these injustices.

Ramesh made a good point. Of course I do see Kumar's view as well. But I think it is hogh time that the public goes after the administration and other agencies and demand for reforms. We got to eliminate or at least drastically reduce these kind of incidents.

Harasement and Brutalility will be punished by law one day.
by anand anand on Feb 23, 2007 08:00 PM  Permalink

Such type of cruel and barberic deeds against women should be severly punished by the long arms of the lawone day.Bandits who are doing such type of cruel actions against women don't have any trait to live as a human-being.I think these kind of people are cold-blooded animals.

Government and police personnel who are having powers should seriously view into this matter and accused has to be caught and produced befor the court and til to the great extent of penalising sections in the IPC should be imposed against the Bandits.

court must give capital punishment to such type of anti-elements.
