Manipulation by anti hindu communist media
by Avinash on Feb 24, 2007 11:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Although this criminal had converted to Islam as mentioned in this article as well as in the newspapers. They ( media ) keep on refering him by his old hindu name when in fact they should use his actual muslim name.
This is one of the many ways the media manipulates things. Some of the manipulation techniques are as follows:
Suppress critical facts, highlight or over-emphasise other facts, print / tell half truths.
Selectively target individuals or political parties ( eg tehelka targeting mostly BJP MPs )

Its a very simple technique. Manipulate information provided to people via the media to
manipulate or brainwash their minds.

Avinash,
You are right! Tehelka did a great injustice by targetting BJP M.Ps. They should have also targeted other partners of NDA. Then the mix would have been fair and proper.
You see Tehelka did everything wrong. First they exposed that they should not have done.
Then they targeted only/mostly BJP MPs .... that they should not have done.
You are right Mr. Avinash. What a shame!!!

I think we should appreciate the Mumbai Police who has stopped the serial murders after the arrest of beer man. Even if he is innocent the murders have stopped

Mr Singh,
The Mumbai police could have arrested you even if you were innocent. That would have a real fun.
And "no killing" would be a bonus anyway!!!

PUBLISH ABOUT GOOD THINGS DONE BY SOME GOOD PEOPLE
by Eshwar James on Feb 24, 2007 03:35 PM  Permalink

AS OUR PRESIDENT SAID FEW DAYS BACK IN A GATHERING, "WHY OUR MEDIA IS SO NEGATIVE" . WHY CANT YOU SEE THE GOOD PEOPLE AROUND YOU. THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING FOR OUR SOCIETY. WHEN UNFORTUNATELY SOME OF THOSE GOOD PEOPLE DIE, MEDIA HARDLY NOTICES IT. AT THE MOST IT MAY APPEAR SOMEWHERE IN THIRD OR FOURTH PAGE. WHEREAS WHEN A CRIMINAL DIES, HIS PHOTO WILL BE PUBLISHED IN THE FRONT PAGE AND LOT WILL BE WRITTEN ABOUT HIM. WHY IS IT LIKE THIS. ARE MEDIA PEOPLE INSANE?

Human rights??????
by harish gupta on Feb 24, 2007 03:08 PM  Permalink

Why press always talk about the rights of criminals or terrorists...about their family and friends. Why these people never see the feelings and pain of family of victims. Why minority people always try to find out the fault of our police and system.

GULLIBLE MEDIA
by B Kumar on Feb 24, 2007 02:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I remember few years back, when a absolute pious and holy man like Shankracharya was accused and arrested by police, no one ever said that he cannot do wrong because he is a saint. Now an ex convict, relegious convert is caught and whole media and his friends are shouting from rooftop that he is a reformed n pious man and cannot commit a crime !! What double standards and blinkered views !

Shankaracharya was arrested with strong evidences against him.He was living a very luxurious life and involved in politics. How can we describe him as a holyman. He was another version of Chandraswamy and Dheerendra Brahmachari

George,

Read the whole history on Popes since 17th century and our shankaracharya will appera a saint before them.Where was your famous Pope John Paul when a million people died in Rwanda in 1994 genocide in just 100 days. Christians were killing christians brothers and sisters. The catholic church with active support from France participated in the killings. So much so that many Rwandese have become protestants. So talk about your Pope. You are a loser.

No need of Debate
by nagesh anchan on Feb 24, 2007 02:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Readers,
There is no need of Debate, the case is very simple, he himself has accepted of killing 4 persons before going to the narco analysis test, he has to be punished according to the law of the land.
Religion has nothing to do with his character.
It is not right on part of Firdaus to glorify criminals.

I think the message is different. When all his friends think that he could not have done, yet he admitted doing this.... it sends a clear message - "Please be careful about just everybody... many a time, crimes are don by known people only." For example, most rapes are committed by known people only!!!
