The system in India is so much idiotic that the case would run for another 10-15yrs to get the verdict may be agianst the rapist,by then I guess the victim might have lost her zeal to live. He would again plea Mr.President seeking to reduce the punishment.Why all this Mr.President, just think and give her approval to die or as a most distinguished civilian do your best to punish the rapist in no time. I saluate courage showed by the teenage to be more sensible than the guilty to act coward in commiting horrendous crime.
Its a sorry plight that we declare ourself as a developing nation were caste politics still rule in rural india. To make things worse your adminstration act in accordance to upper caste rule.
Its time to grow and break barriers of differentiate in the name of caste,creed and selfness.
Also,I wish that girl gets equal justice as in the case of "Sabrina Lal".

A crime like rape should have special fast track law which can culminate into culprit getting death sentence....otherwise many more will have to suffer inthe country which is on fast track of going to have one of the best economy in the world...
Dear President, This is the first time probably that a young girl has taken a bold step and written to you about the crime committed on her. Hope you will ensure that justice is done and severe punishment is given to the culprit irrespective of his stature in the society. These powerful, rich men have victimized women and girls from poorer families. Please take it up seriously so that it is a lesson to all such men!!

I feel all who do these kind of things are sick of there mind or has an unstable mind and they deserve to be eliminated from the societies. But again this can be misused also as always the one who makes the allegation is not right. But yes if proved guilty then there should be capital punishment for this or stone them to deth in public
