the victim is 16 years only..the fractured mentality that people have nowadays pre and post NETHARI and the examples that are now set in our indian social system is really disturbing. The role of the police provided that they do their duties is to crush such criminal mentality so that no person ever think to do or repeat such henious crimes. The girl PLEA is very right and now is the time that we all should wake-up the president should definitely interfere and provide all support so that JUSTICE is provided at the fastest to this young girl.
The girl has shown enough boldness to take her case up to you against so many odds of trauma and torture. Sir, please intervene taking a bold step to provide her justice and honour the little girl's courage.
WHEN INDIA IS GOING TO IMPROVE. Mr PRIME MINISTER/ PRESIDENT SEE THIS IS HAPPENING IN YOUR GREAT COUNTRY. ATLEAST CONCENTRATE ON RURAL AREAS WHERE LAW AND ORDER SITUATIONS IS IN A MESS

India was/is/will never (be) a great country.Be practical.You are living in a country where politicians are ruling,none else has no power even to stand and speak up.These crimes are much more common than they appear in media. Sandy that's ridiculous. I think I have seen several shows on History Channel, Discovery showing stories of Serial Killer.
So all countries have their ups and downs but that doesn't affect the stature of any nation. A nation is bcoz of its entire citizen and not one individual.

Dear Mr. Sandy Please look around where you live. You too have serial killers, rapists and other sick psychopaths in UK. If you open guardian, Daily mail, you will get to see plenty! Such incidents are aberrations which are prevalent in all societies and we need to bring them down! There is no need to scorn at India, which is definitely Great, given the odds and multi-complex population it carries!

MR.Sandy. From UK, Does this does not happen in your wild west. Take example of ur London, is it safe at Night. Pls stop Cursing the country, nobody needs the a proof or cerificate, this country is great and will be great, what ever we today are due to our great mother land and its great sons. ur Londons railway system is also designed by people in this part of world, it considered the best, the brains behind are indians.
It is very sad to know that a young girl who should be going to school, enjoying her childhood is thinking of ending her life in SHINING INDIA. It is request to president from all "not very politically high linked affluent indians" that please set a example by helping this girl and punishing the culprits.
This is such a brutul incedence and our presedent should think over it that why these kind of crimes are keep happening in our country.he shold take some initiative to make a law against Rape.also local people should protect& support this girl & HER FAMILY if they dont then this type of incedence could happen with them also.so instead of waiting the help from police or goverment we should take initiatives to protect our country from these crimes...Nitin,Pune
The issue should be exaggerated to the max extent possible so that the rapist will not be able to show his face to anybody and will die out of shame. This will teach a lesson to all those animals who think of doing similar inhuman acts. Our sympathies are with the poor girl. It's high time security is provided to the poor girl else the Thakur's can go to any extent. NGOs in the village or neighbouring village should join hands in taking up this case.
