It's too good to be true. But only fear is our PAKI friend would try to black-mail and try to sabotage the entire matter. As our exp.shows they are capable of doing only such things.

I totally agree with u Sandapan but i am on CHINAS side, China shall show whos boss, those americans are so clueless about how much better we are , our culture our economy and soon even military EVERYTHING we need to make americans not proud of themselves but ASHAMED i be living here in america for a while and become digusted in these people(not all) how they think they are the best country...they are nothing...they only have 200 years of history doing what? enslavin africans, bein racist, manifest destiny crap excuse for bein greedy fightin for more and more land, china has over 2000 years of awsome history. These guys are crazy. China may be a great civilization, what has it to do with us now? Aren't they the one supplying nukes and missiles to pakistan? Enemy's friend is also enemy. What are we trying to get by ganging up against US? Wake up guys, shade cold war era attitude. Even Russia and China don't have guts to go against US. Accept US is a superpower and will be for long time. Just do what is best for India. Principles have no place in world, what matters is NATIONAL INTERESTS. And about american people, I am in USA. I like these people. Don't we have caste system if they are recist? They are much more disciplined people than us. If you have to go from Gujarat to Maharastra, you have to pay money to police for no reason as if you are travelling to different country. In USA, u go to california from new york by car, do u have to pay money to anyone? USA has problems and sometime, USA is a problem. But instead of critisizing everything, why don't we learn what is useful to us and neglect other thing. What have we achieved in the world by following principles so far? Is any country with us for kashmir? Wake up guys, shade old mentality, see new world and grab every opportunity, after all, only INDIANS can make INDIA great, not USA, not china and not russia. While all the possibilities arising out of the possible alliance seem alluring, there is a reason why the US still enjoys a strong position here. There are fissures between the three individual players. Secondly the author's dream of joint control over Central Asia is a pipe dream for India. We have no window to the region, the last of which vanished with the accession of POK to Pakistan and Aksai chin to China. And the eastern dragon is certainly not interested in sharing energy channels with India. Its only objective is to dim US influence over India. Similar is the case with Russia. In any case we should not forget how much Russia is contributing to the Chinese arms buildup.

Its good article and should reach the leaders of three countries. Its mandatory in the 21st century to have this tie-up. The foriegn ministry should work towards this effort and built new era in the history. someone below rightly pointed out saying "it should be formed for global leadership not for to resist someone global power" -thats true. but still to balance we require the strategic movement in place

Russia shall keep supplying China. China will build up its military to REUNITE with taiwan and if US is gona be a pain and get in way china shall show no mercy, america should prepare to lose all cities. the china towns will fight too! haha. but hopefully before all that happens North Korea gets more nukes and China even better military. Russia China N.Korea will be like 3 Soviet unions. US Japan South korea wont dare to mess with us!
Sounds in the realm of fantasy. Why would China want to tie up with India & Russia. Isnt it doing well on its own. Russian concerns emanate from its loss of preminence. India should be guarded. To have a meaningful alliance all partners need to be equal. Russia & China are reasonably equal ableit in different ways. If India is to forge a strategic alliance with the two, it needs to step up its economic clout. We need to be meaningful & non threatening partners to the chinese. Ground reality today is China is far ahead of India.
Russia still has & China has much more global clout than India. We need to improve our clout before we can form meaningful alliances with the two

It is in US interests if India China continue to be at loggerheads. If only we are able to manage our relations with China to our advantage we would be respected.
These three countries have always had the potential to be leaders by cooperation. We have not been able to utilise a strategic partnership with China to subdue the Pakis. US has been using India and China against each other. We must not allow the US to do that. This is the chance.
