Hi Jim , Your question does really God exists......?YES REALLY GOD EXISTS.But HE is only for those who call upon HIS NAME and POWER.Your doubt is why GOD did not perform miracle to save little children.....HE have HIS own TIME....That is why HE is called a sovereign LORD. Let GOD may bless you. From James

OUTRAGEOUS!
by hari shankar on Feb 20, 2007 11:04 PM  Permalink

It is extremely sad to see that the school authorities have not taken reasonable care to see that the children were safe. They shoudn't have taken small kids for boating during evening time which itself is extremely dangerous especially due to the fact that most of them can't swim and it gets dark.Action has to be taken against the school authorities and the govt of kerala for not having taken precaution and for overloading the boat which are in a very dilapidated condtion.May the lord almighty take care of the unfortunate souls and give strength to their kin to get through this very unfortunate and unexpected dissaster.

Unfortunate event
by on Feb 20, 2007 11:03 PM  Permalink

It is a tragic event. My condolences to families who have lost their loved ones. In order to prevent such happenings in future i do believe that along with government parents and school should pay more attention to safety of their kids. First of all school should not allow to overload the boat and should make sure that there are enough safety equipments on the boat. If we keep waiting for government to take some action it is probably not gonna happen. So screw government and let us take some responsibilities and act on safety of our kids.

Heart Wrenching
by Rohit AT on Feb 20, 2007 10:46 PM  Permalink

The death of innocent children under such tragic circumstances goes on to show the extent to which people can be careless to earn the extra buck There can be no other major reason for the capsize other than that the boat was overloaded than what it could take. Negligence was not just from the boat owners but it goes all the way upto all those who allowed the plying of such boats. Without genuine cocern from the side of the public no amount of measures could avert sfurther such incidents in the future.
