The title of this article suggest that a link has been found connecting all these incidents. As it turns out these are mere speculations at this point by this particular author. Rediff really needs to adhere to good journalistic principles and not fall into this ratings driven media frenzy like the US.
I think it is fair to force Pakistan to clamp down on Islamic extremists operating in India; however that demand is only valid if the Indian government itself takes the responsibility to clamp down on Hindu and other fanatic groups within its own borders. A logical assessment of this situation indicates that the perpetrators were Hindu fanatics. Like it or not Hindu fanatics (albeit less in numbers and sophistication than their islamist counterparts) have been around for some time now. Refusing to accept this reality is foolish at best and not doing anything to curb these groups and their destructive ideology is detrimental to Hinduism itself.
There was a time when rediff had all brilliant columnists. Ashwin Mahesh, Ramanand Sengupta, Saisuresh Sivaswamy, Arvind Lavakare, Admiral Nadkarni, Ambrish Diwanji, Vrsha Bhosale, G Parthasarthy, the never-say-die Bidwai, etc. I wonder where most of them have disappeared now?
I beleive more than we asking who has done it? or who is killed?......We should be asking why is it so frequently its happening in our country?... Is it that thr is no value for human life in this country or is it tht votes are more important than human life? Unless we ask our rulers/the govt these questions......We would continue to leave in the most unsecured country...Why are we continuing to stand these politicians who claim to have liberated us from the british but continue to use thr worst instrument (divide and rule).....Today the buss in Pesudo Securalism effectivly used as a tool to pit majority against minority......or else why would a priminister antogonise the majority by saying tht the 1st right to resources of a country is for the minorities....Its a well planned agenda at work.
I agree with "Human Mind" 100%. Its just the Blame game that the people do. Has anyone watched Khakee? It shows exactly the same story. How the Politicians make up one target and then send another team to save it, and another to kill the guy.
And how people just blindly follow the media and are mis-lead by it. Who today can call himself an Indian??? We all are just blind and cant swallow the pill of truth.
Our hatredness, arrogancy has claimed the lives of thousands... Still we just keep shouting at others.
Get back to the source of the Problem and that is NOT to excommunicate the MINORITIES which has been happpening always.
INDIA is NOT made up of Majorities. OUR MOTHERLAND is a country which is made up of all its citizens, whether Hindu, Muslim, Chirstian, Sikh etc...
And about Muslims killing each other in Iraq... Another mis-leading information by the American Media... The US govt is doing the same thing which the British did when they were in India. The policy of divide and rule, so that thye get an EXCUSE to stay as much as they can and get the MAXIMUM OIL out of Iraq... So they fund sometimes to the Shias and sometimes to the Sunnis...
Come on Indians, shed aside the hatred and join hands and fight Terrorism in a Logical, Trustful way...

jawad i appreciate your patriotism . but islamic people all over the world hate india and muslims of india generally sympathise with all the issues connected to muslims all over the world. just see it now: go to islamicity.com(which is regarded as very respected site by many muslim) and see this link http://www.islamicity.com/m/news_frame.asp?Frame=1&referenceID=30645 (actual link is of a different site but islamic brothers find it so near to heart that they cant avoid linking the info). this article discusses how outsourcing has helped india and is exploiting the ordinary americans. (what great sympathysers of Americans they are when the enemy is india). the link is active still now and give an honest comment about it and the site.and tell me how you feel about those muslims.

I think you are perhaps twisting things. I have seen similar analyses in Economic times. Secondly, everywhere, it mentions India and China. India is never singled out. CNN and BBC have published such reports too. Dude, you are talking like a redneck now... all muslims are against USA or whatever. You can find offensive, anti-India material on the web, for sure... this is not it. Even that website is not rabidly anti anybody. It's just like any hindu or christian website, promoting their own religion. The internet, by definition allows people to post what they want :)
They chant Allah-o-Akbar when the bombs go off and people including children get blown to bits. God is Great!
They chant Jai Shri Ram and proceed to tear the womb of a pregnant woman and pull the embryo out with the tip of the sword. The embryo is brandished hanging from the sword. A resounding cheer of Jai Shri Ram!
We do not deserve to live. Lord Ram will see to it that each one of us dies in this brutal way and he will urge Allah who will no doubt do the same to Muslims. They will together herald a new world order.
In this fight for "Who did it first?" we are annihilating ourselves. Eye for an eye.

Mr. Pande, really nice thing u have mentioned. I respect ur thoughts, and ur feelings. if every one gives importance to human life, then there will not be any killings. ALAS! very few people like you and me will think in that way. No religion whether its Islam, Hinduism, Christian, etc teaches us to kill any innocent life. Its we the people in this world have grouped ourselves in the name of religion, land and habits.....may peace prevail..Ameen..
Headline indicates that the investigating agencies have indeed found a link between Mumbai, Malegaon and the Deewana blasts. On reading, its just B Raman's interpretation of events. B Raman is discredited, as it is... wonder why Rediff retains him as a columnist.
