We should not forget the history, during the partition, the Sindh and surrounding Punjab province.etc, was vacated and made Pakistan, but the same did not happen with Hindustan. Besides, the Sindhi community (from sindh now in Pakistan) did not get any state of their own and today other minorities are talking about power, what about the innocent sindhi community, which were refugees 60 years back and are so today, having no state of their own. People should learn from the Sindhi community, the qualities of attitude towards life. They were one time refugees in Hindustan, but if one analyzes today, you will not find a single beggar in this community, further you will never see them involved in any kind of riots or in any act of terrorism. They are the oldest civilization in the world (Muhinjo dharo-Haddappa). They should be the one asking for reservations in government organizations, but they did not do so, they believed in the policy of peace, harmony and above all hard work.
They have done the biggest sacrifice in the history of the whole world. And I rank them at the top. Bravooooooooooo, keep it up%u2026..
Mr. Narayan seems not a security adviser of India. He looks like a spokeman of any of facist party who sniffs all roots of every evil in its minortiy. Before this interview he already has expressed his views depicting Indian Muslims as potential terrorists. Alas! He were a Muslim, he could feel the disparity, disappointment and sense of humility among his Muslim counterparts in the country. Indian Muslims are very much concerned about terrorism but when they see that every one, sooner or later, geting his stake in the country, only they being a Muslim not geting what they deserves. Mr. Narayan will never discuss why Sri Krishna commission report, Babri Masjid case and aftermath riots, Nanded blasts, Malegaon blasts, Bhagalpur, Meerut massacres, killing in Gujrat and so on will be resolved and they will get justice and sense of justice, equality and harmony. Looks like that no muslim in the world has sense of justice, peace and equality as the world over Muslims are involved in the acts of terrorism , violence and illegal activities. With so much of alleged violence against Muslims in India, how did they grow from 3crs. at the time of independece to 14 crs now! When all Hindus in Pakistan & bangala desh are more or less wiped out.
As a French Historian said " Muslims world over are terbulent minority and intolerent majority"! Tell me if there is an exception world over. Regards, Omar P.

Thank you Mr.Narayan. Looks like there's at least one sensible person in the country who can give a balanced assessment of terrorism and related issues.
Sri MKN has sent a succicnt message in the passing, that the media are blowing the matter out of proportion. Their main job is to create a sensation in the society around very trivial incidents among 110 crore people of this nation. Any chief minister\\\'s casual remarks are re-telecast by each channel at least evry half an hour for 24 hrs. This creates a bad taste in the people.
If some good developmental work takes place, that is given a casual treatment once or twice in a day. There should be some exclusive channels on the tv network that show only positive development like self employment, rehabilitation, improvements in water and enegy management, educational opportunities,research in various fields, new developments etc. Unfortunately there is not even ONE such channel on air.. No money will come through for such channels by advertisements. Will any large business houses pool together the resources along with some inputs from the govt, both state and centre,for such a channel whicvh will be education throughout the cvropss-section of tyhe society and give some relief to the tired viewers on today\\\'s idiot box ?

1.Why are they allowing the hurriyat conference to talk openly against India from Indian soil and allowing them to visit pakistan to talk about kashmir with Gen Mush.

3.Why they are hesitating to name terrorists as terrorists??
4.Why there is sudden incrase in sobatage activity in Kashmir. Is it not due to very soft nature of Congress lead Gulam Nabi govt in Kashmira towards terrorists ??
5.Why there is a delay in hanging of Afzal ( Guru???) what prevents the Govt of India from hanging a terrorist ??
6. Why the central govt is very soft on SIMI the route cause of terror in Deccan.
We need strong and committed national leaders to take strict action and stop terrorism in India.

Dear friends, It's alarming to see hatred postings at such a large scale! The more worrying is the involvement of educated people in this group. Thanks to a particular ideology brainwashing and educating people to intolerate and hate fellow human beings from different religions, this is all what has al-qaeda been doing in many parts of the world. If this is continued to happen here and elsewhere in different countries amongst the different nationalities, the time is not very far when the existence of people of other religions and ideologies would be the thing of the past and many nations would be engulfed in the fire of such hatred being spread by handful of psychopathic culprits who draw utmost pleasure by witnessing violence and terrorism. This is the kind of terrorism which was allowed to be knowingly nurtured due to selfish political ambitions and got enshaped as al-qaeda. There is still a time that everyone should get aware of such elements which spread hatred and preach, justify or defend hatred, violence or terrorism in any form. The utmost responsibility lies on the shoulders of the governing bodies in every part of the world of different nations to check and nip such inhumane acts in its primary stages. The violaters and the sponsorers should be warned for the first and the last and dealt accordingly. Al-qaeda and like wise have already taken a toll, we should not allow like-minds to develop elsewhere any longer by any means. This hatred element which have become monster out of the religious or ideological chauvinism has so ruthlessly killed Jews in the world war, bombed WTO towers in New York, bombed trains in Spain, London, Mumbai, burnt Graham Stains and his two young children alive in Gujarat, slaughtered so many people in Gujarat in riot, killings of innocent people by different factions in Iraq, loss of so many innocent lives in ethnic violence in former Yugoslavia and Rwanda and so on...! It is this past or history based element which is responsible for spreading hatred for each other in Israel and Palestine. We, unfortunately, fail to realize the losses incurred by this monster. We are into the 21st century, such incidences cannot be allowed to take place in any part of the world. There is an urgent need to form a platform of the civilised and responsible nations to formulate a strategy to fight proliferation of such monsterous elements. Or else, if such kind of hatred is continued to be allowed, just imagine what would be the face of this world, there would be no tolerance for others, imagine if the majority of the Christians and many dominant ethnic groups in Americas, Europe and elsewhere would not like to tolerate or see others in their countries, a great part of Muslims would behave the same way in the Gulf and many African and Asian countries, Budhists do the same in China, Thailand, Srilanka and elsewhere, majority of the Hindus do the same in India. This world would be engulfed by this monster of religious and ideological chauvinism. Indeed, the world collectively need to see effective measures against such groups no matter where they are. We can not let this happen in the modern world what occurred in the past. We cannot let the people in this world to allow hate each other reminding them of their past. If we wish to see a future of peace and prosperity for everyone, we must deal with such element strong handedly that try to create disharmony, discord and hate for others. We cannot let the people indulge in another greater conflict. We, at a higher level of civilised nations collectively, need to identify this element from the society which have been uncheckingly spreading hatred and glorifying the innocent killings of the people. Such wild bestiality should be discouraged at all levels by the responsible authorities and individuals. Jai Hind!

Well written, an extremely apt and succint article that asks many questions. One could only hope the hatred mongers, wherever they are, can take something from this and act toward a peaceful and harmonious world.
