Blast in Samjhauta Express.
by Rajagopal Harihara on Feb 20, 2007 05:36 PM  Permalink

Loss of life is a terrible thing. especially insuch circumstances.
Any amount of compensation cannot replace the near and dear ones lost. Like the leaders I too want express my deep sympathies for the victims and their next of kin.
However my comments on this news item is spontameous.
Our President has to express grief. He has no other say in such matters, For that matter has no other say in ant matter, than what the PM and the defacto PM says. Mr. Kalam is an affable President for the school students. There ends his Presidential rsponsibility. Rest are "Yours truly" duty.
Regarding our PM. He espresses anguish and grief. But he will not flinch once to announce proportional allocation of resources of our country for the suppressed and dipressed Muslim Minorities. He is waiting for them to ask for proportional allocation of 'India that is Bharath". The Muslims in India are most pampered Muslims in the world. Even in Paksitan they would not have had the previleges as in India. Which country gives free airfare to Haj and Back? Which country allocated Rs. 1000/- crore each year for Madrsas.
Coming back to Bombing of Samjhauta Express, our security personnel are always chasing the terrorists . They come to the spot only after the bombers have fled the scene. They cannot plan any preemptive arrest. Mr. Manmohan's government repealed POTA, the only act that helped the security to nab perpetrators of crime.
In this case the terrorist have shown that there is no use having any Samjhauta with Pakistan. Even though the Bombers may be born in India and Trained in pakistan, they seem to be honest about it, unlike Pakistan's leaders.
Now I have a question
Why terroeist do not blast the train or Bus in which the VVIPs travel?
Why do they target the poor people?

President, PM deplore train blasts..........
by Pat Thakur on Feb 19, 2007 01:36 PM  Permalink

.........but still they will continue to schmooze the Muslims & Muslim Nations for votes, ain't it? This dual policy of the Congress & Allied Parties has become a pain in the XXX now, to the point of destruction. But the Congress will never improve. They will only be satisfied when India is destroyed completely.

Consequences of soft policies
by me critic on Feb 19, 2007 11:49 AM  Permalink

Till the time India remains soft with terrorists such gruesome incidents will keep recurring. It is time that our leaders stop appeasing the minorities especially the muslims and think about the problems objectively. Only in India a terrorist like Afzal Guru can find sympathizers. We should take cue from the security policies of Israel, UK, USA, Australia and many other countries where all terrorists are treated alike and the only punishment given to them is death. Mere condemning the incidents will do no good to the country. Our police, army, leaders should act in a more positive manner and bring this menace to an end.

yet another hollow statement
by sameer sarma on Feb 19, 2007 10:56 AM  Permalink

Our PM has really become good at this... expressing grief over the loss of human lives. Maybe someday he'll go beyond merely expressing grief, but actually do something about our intelligence agencies..

Blast!

Another senseless act of violence, why don't those who do such acts think that it would be somebody's children, someone's parents who die.
