3 demons...
by Bharath Kumar on Jun 13, 2008 06:40 PM  Permalink

Biggest villains of Indian History:
These creatures not only invaded India, these demons also spoiled the rich culture...
These demons are...
1) Ghori
2) Ghazni
3) Auranzeb
Our great Indian minorities dont even realize their fathers/mothers would have been tortured and converted...
What a culture....
I guess Its not just these three demons but also the Indian die hard fan will suffer in there life if God really exists...
Justifying sin just for the sake of religion is something which should be forgiven...

I am elated on your studies.I just want to bring up a single point that if aurangeb were great king why people are trying to malign his image, there are other kings also to talk non-sense about, secondly I may agree that aurangeb must be having many top hindu officers but being hindu does not mean they must be good in fact they are supposed to be even crueler to work with such demon.

The truth about Aurangzeb
by on Apr 24, 2008 08:43 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

After so many posts and replies, its very hard to ascertain which face of the coin we're looking at.
After reading so many accusations and counter-accusations, it is really difficult to explain if Arungazeb was really a just and secular ruler, how come so many people revolted against him and for what reasons did the Mughal dynasty collapse after Arungazeb?

i really don't understand one thing that if Aurangzeb(r.a) destroyed temples and killed hindus on mass basis.why still in india the 80% of population are of hindus and you will find far more number of authentic and old hindu temples than masjid in india.
You being very close to history(as you presume).please help me out with this question.

All are brothers of mine, no matter what! I treat them equally.

I am a muslim. I won't say much. Islam is a very beautiful religion, where everything can be justified. Its perfectly acceptable for a man to be cruel/good no matter who that be, because man is a born sinner. Everybody is gonna get judged to there deeds.
Here's my main point:
If u really wanna know about a religion(any) don't look at a hindu, muslim, christian or Jew.
Read the holy scriptures, then u will actually see what the religion is about.
No one is a perfect human being or a perfect follower of religion.
Jus cos of a particular guy don't spew hatred towards the religion.
I like the motto by arms manufacturers here in the west- "Guns don't kill people;People do."
This can be applied to everything.

Pathetic knowledge Francois!

Akbar had 14 Hindu Mansabdars (officials) in his court.

Aurangzeb had 148 Hindu Mansabdars (officials) in his court.

For torturing Hindus & smashing their temples, a ruler has to use his army. The supreme army leader of Aurangzeb was Raja Jaysingh. Other big Generals were Rana Jaswant Singh, Raja Indra Singh, Raja Rajrup, Kabir Singh, Arghanath Singh, Prem Dev Singh & Dilip Roy. With so many high caste Hindu Generals, who can demolish Hindu temples? Only an insane Hindu will think of this idea!

A stone inscription in the historic Balaji Vishnu Temple, located north of Chitrakut Balaghat, still shows that it was commissioned by Aurangzeb himself.

Aurangzeb granted land for famous Hindu religious sites in Kasi. These historical documents are available even today.

Aurangzeb gave written orders to his army for not damaging the Ellora caves!

I think Aurangzeb was better than any Hindu ruler of Delhi.

The truth about Aurangzeb
by on Feb 19, 2008 03:29 PM  Permalink

Good Knowledge about Aurangazeb ..........But their is something missing or not fairly dealt with Dara Shikoh! in simple words he is one among the incapable Son whom shaJhan wanted to be the next ruler of India! No one knows what it would be if Dara Shikoh was the Emperor. All speculations is just to glorify Dara Shikoh and their is a clear cut injustice Done for Aurangazeb Character. Aurangazeb never even wanted a single pie to be spent for his Funeral, having such Figure in History is itself a treasure, imagine how the days would have been then? their is a sense of hatred for Aurengazeb in your Essay.through and clear cut research should be done before blaming a person who ruled India with sense of Pride and Honor and for his Subjects.

Ashoka & Aurangzeb
by on Jan 30, 2008 01:46 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Most people on this board are writing without a knowledge of history.

After Ashoka the person who was ruler of such a large territory was Aurangzeb.
- If Aurangzeb was a cruel leader than so was Ashoka
- Ashoka killed hundreds and thousands of people in his battles.
- There was justice during Auranzeb's time. If he was anti-Hindu How come many of his advisors were Hindus
- Aurangzeb had the practice of widows being burned banned.
- Aurangzeb did not use public money for his personal needs.
- Some Hindus complain about him implementing Jizya (a tax on non-Muslims). But this is used instead of the draft and forcing him to join the army. Moreover Aurangzeb removed over 50 taxes that were previously taken from people. Muslims had to pay Zakat and Ushar tax which non-Muslims did not have to.
- If he was anti-Hindu how come except a few all Hindu temples were untouched and their worshippers allowed to pray in peace.
- The few temples that were attcked were 1) due to rebellion and 2)in one case priests from a temple kidnapped and killed some princesses who had come to pray. Aurangzeb at the request of the Raja sent Hindu troops to punish the kidnappers.

Overall Aurangzeb was one of the greatest rulers India has seen.

It was the mistake of the Hindu rulers of that time!
by Milind on Jan 07, 2008 11:40 AM  Permalink

That they let this monster take such a big shape, had they been united and fought together against this anti human monster... the face of India would have been entirely different and then there would not have been the threat of terrorism in the world today...
