i think the writer is a bit confused.there is a lack of clarity of thoughts.he is confused between whether to malign auranzeb or to provide the muslims with his own way of living.it beats me that how could so many disparate group of historians act in collusion to save the face of a not so loved and that includes our very own chacha nehru.we have been brougt up reading history that a french guy comes and refutes.i am really pained if this is the state of our system as i atleast take pride in being an indian,and my very own system.

Dear Mariam, the writer is trying to make a point about the existence of a violent form of a religion. The Prophet was a Revolutionary of his time, and the basic message, of Equality, in Islam will always be relevant. However, in the backdrop of what happened to Dara Shikoh, an Indian that we should be proud of, this Frenchman you criticise is trying to draw parellels with the intolerance to free thought that existed then, and still exists among the conservative quarters of that Great Religion. Therefore Mr. Gautier's message is pretty straightforward.
This great land is for Hindus ,Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and all other great religions that born and grew out of here. People who want to do slavery. please leave INDIA immediately.

Indian Muslim , there are Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and christians and several other religious ppl.why nobody asked for separate country at the time of 1947. who divided this country amid thousands of killings and bloodbath? Nowhere in any country no religious ppl will ask for separate countries except Islamists ,right? This is why only ppl, are worried and scared abt muslims?
As happened in 1947, as happening now in Kashmir(even after staying sixty yrs in this country), , just basing on religion somebody is again thinking to brake, What%u2019s guarantee that these guys might do it again and again , given a chance. What do u say for that? That%u2019s the core issue all other issues will die if muslims adodpt that religion and Nationality are different concepts.

The United States on Thursday urged Kazakhstan's authorities to end what it called an "aggressive" campaign against the country's tiny Hare Krishna community.
The U.S. Embassy said it had "several concerns" regarding the legal basis for the demolition last month of Hare Krishna's 13 summer houses outside the Kazakh commercial capital, Almaty.
In April, Kazakh courts found the Hare Krishna members guilty of illegally acquiring land and ordered that the houses be destroyed and the land confiscated.
"Regardless of the merits of the underlying case, the forceful eviction of homeowners in freezing temperatures and the destruction of their possessions, contradicted principles of due process and fairness," the Embassy said in a statement.
Laborers with crowbars and bulldozers destroyed the community's 13 country houses at their farm on Nov. 21, while police prevented community members from interfering.
The Hare Krishna community denies breaking property laws and says it is a victim of religious intolerance.
The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe said in a statement after the demolitions that the move "suggests they have been targeted on the basis of their religious affiliation."
The U.S. Embassy urged the Karasai district authorities who were behind the legal action against the Hare Krishna community "to refrain from any further aggressive actions ... and to work toward a fair, lawful, and peaceful resolution of the ongoing legal dispute."
Kazakh authorities have long been seen as being more tolerant of other religions than other governments in mostly Muslim ex-Soviet Central Asia, but in recent years they have tightened laws governing religious organizations, citing concerns about Islamic extremism.
The author says 1. " People might say: 'OK, this is all true, Aurangzeb was indeed a monster, but why rake up the past, when we have tensions between Muslims and Hindus today?'" 2.The argument that looking at one's history will pit a community against the other does not hold either;
3. Let Hindus and Muslims then come to terms with what happened under Aurangzeb, because Muslims suffered as much as Hindus.

Dear Mr. Imam, So much so for your harangue againt hinduism, how do you explain the west that still practises racism, a nation that wanted to destroy a whole race from the face of the earth, or a community that still practices honour killing in a developed country like britain, or a nation that gives lowest compensation for the death of a hindu worker, or a dozen nations which doesn't know anything about any other religion, or brothers belonging to a same nation blowing up each other's mosques for fun in Iraq though they pray to the same god. It is the butterheads like you are responsible for the prblems faced by most muslims in the world. Dear brother, why can't you marry a arab muslim though you both practise a same faith, or do you think a saudi imam will allow his son or daughter to marry an african. Don't you know that muslims spend money in converting whites in every part of europe and africa. If you don't know about it, Please come to places like bradford and manchester in UK, you will get first hand experience. Long post. I will give it to you brief. Aryan invasion theory was never proved in a peer reviewed scientific basis. It was a propaganda mechanism from 18th and 19th century colonial era of Max Muellarian expertise of powerful christian missionary funded work, to divide Hindus in the North and South. As most Hindus are still racist people who love fair skin, it has it's weight. As the attitudes change, the facts will be appreciated. BTW, Hindutva proponents like Savarkar and Golwalkar believe in immeorial theory of Indian civilization. Hindu culture is very old and these theories of less scientific basis will be demolished. Come with facts if you want to divide people or accept that you are a slimy Mullah bred Muslim guy. About Hinduism being a complete failure, the interests of Einstien, Robert Oppenheimer(director of Manhattan Project), Heisenberg(the guy who related his Nobel Prize winning uncertainity principle to vedas), Nietzsche and several other greatest legends of modern times vouched for scriptures of Hinduism to fill their spiritual life. Islam is not their game. Where are you from hero? India or a Paki?

Dr Robert or Imaan I appreciate your courage of speaking too much with too little knowledge. I am going to touch what u have writen without having adequate understanding of the religion called Hinduism.
You need to know that Hinduism is basically a culture and only religion based on the practical ralities of culture and not not the whims and fancies of a so called religious leader. It has given too much to the world that researches are going on across the globe on even very tiny things reflected in this great religion of tolerance and peace.
- You need to know that AYURVEDA is one of the best systems of medicines - Yoga and meditation are the best form form of mental and physical exercises. Dr Ramdev Baba has already proved this in the world. If you are more knowledgable just challenge with better option - Kamsutra is still considered very powerful sex guide in the world - The popular Hynotism has just come from meditation. (I am a hypnotherapist trained in west) - Burning of the dead bodies is best form of destroying the effects of disease
It has of much just touch any religion book of Hinduism and you will find that life is too short to understand it. It has books and vast literature and not guided by a book or a religious leader. To clarify you Hinduism is not the product of knowledge of one man.It do not have any single man to be claimed as originator.
In fact while exposing Hinduism you have exposed the extend of your knowledge and wisdom.

Hinduism is not a Dharma but it is a lifestyle which makes human being simply from animals.
An animal can't follow hinduism cause it will change his lifestyle. We all know there are three type of animals Carnivorous, Herbivorous, Omnivorous.
We all know the animals behaviour but we only change to human being after taking hinduism as our lifestyle. Hinduism is not mere just temples and idols. It is very very very vast. A normal animal can't understand. If any one wants to understand Hinduism then he has to make hinduism as his lifestyle.
The Mughals were indeed sad and horrible people. Not only Aurangazeb, but even someone like Tipu Sultan who people think was a good leader was a crook. He drove away non-Muslims from his regions and most of the well educated Brahmins of that time had to flee as they refused to convert. They tried to wipe of Hinduism from the South and Southern India has risen back and Hinduism in the region could never be brought down.
