i wish these people have that common sense...and then we all know ..they only read their "holy book" which doesn't preach commonsense....and so the problems in today's world...
Their is much more than history to look into that was an era and we cannot afford to look back and revisit Aurangzeb time. you people would in the name of art want to bring out what people have forgotten and now they are looking ahead to grow in life . i would call all my fellow indians not to support this stupid attempt to get quick fame and unwarrented attention to this kind of exibitions

I saw the other 2 replies below, hope u got the difference between Islam, Christianity and Hinduism. You need to convert and not the poor muslims. Christians always prey on the poort and needy to covert them.
The missionaries were beaten up in Nagapattinam after the came in search of fresh converts in "fisherman community" promising them houses and boats if they convert. Are you ppl really doing "Service" in India ??
To fellow Indians, there is a book written by Arun Shourie on the Missionary activities in India. Pls read it.

Ah great Observer, stop your sharia crap. Sati is popular only in Rajastan which was under frequent attacks from muslim rulers. SATI started because Hindu women preferred suicide than loosing thier dignity. There is no SATI in any of the Hindu Puranas, Upanishads, Itihaas or anywhere. It was only a willful thing and never forced on any women. Mind that I am not supporting SATI here, but don't pose aurangzeb & co as liberators.

If there are one or two incidences of sati here and there, especially among the rural undeveloped areas, that is not tantamount to sati being a hindu custom that is strictly followed and observed by over all hindu comunity. its just a propoganda machinary of anti hindu brigade, crying hoarse about 'caste system' and 'sati'. If people do not have the maturity to accept facts then there is no point arguing.
