Trawling through the first page I was amused and also disheartened to notice how posters who follow Islam defend Aurangazeb & his reign and how posters who follow Hinduism criticise the same emperors reign and all muslim posters, even going so far as to accuse & abuse.
I am proud of my Indian heritage, proud that India over the centuries has been a mixing bowl for so many different races, imbibing, learning and adding to what we know as Indian culture. Yet that does not make me blind to the atrocities committed by indians whether hindu or muslim, on fellow indians - whether hindu or muslim.

THIS MIGHT OPEN YOUR EYES. 1. Only emperor in the history of India, who was working on salary. 2. He put his father in jail for the reason he said - this is public money, you cannot waste 20 lakh rupees for your dead wife. 3. Sanathana Dharma/Hinduism was not wiped out because of help from Gurus and Yogis - the Saptarishi, Raghavendra Swami, Sant Tukaram etc. The farmaans Aurangzeb issued to destroy temples can be seen by one and all in the museums Gautier mentioned

Go back and read historians mate - the algebra and other things that you muslims have claimed by force are now out. All this was taken from the Hindus. The end of British/Islam world has resulted in americans itself acknowledging that Hindus were way ahead of any other religious people. The followers of Allah were just nomads whereas hindus were ahead in all this.
The ADVENT OF ISLAM BROUGHT DESTRUCTION IN HINDUS VALLEY, THEIR BOOKS WERE COPIED ONTO. READ ANY BOOKS THEY ARE TRANSLATED. tHESE books then reached europe.

In Islam's wake lies death and destruction! Islam has taken credit for other peoples work. It was the Persians and the Byzantium civilization that produced the scholars . It was those civilizations that created the conditions for their achievements. Since Islam arrived at their doorstep, it's been downhill ever since. Lets take a closer look at this so called "golden period of Islam", 750 - 1258 AD, these are the years that Islam spread very rapidly. Once their position was consolidated, one can easily surmise that all critical thinking and innovation STOPPED! So essentially they claimed someone else's golden age then they ruined it and turned into into the stone age. Exactly where one finds modern Islam.

Aurangazeb was not a true muslim atall for he imprisoned his own father and killed his brother.He was brutal.Then why you call him a Muslim.He should be called a Terminator. Does Islam encourage such behaviour? I donot think it is such a cheap religlion.Supporting any brutal deeds is un-islamic
The above mention things all are worst for the Human Being and Humanity. Islam is the only religion which ** PROHIBITED ** above mentioned things. No other religions say the above things are bad. The sane and good conscience people understand what is good and what is bad. This is the great teachings and greatness of ISLAM. The message is loud and clear.

You are views are narrow.You do not have sufficient knowledge of other religions.Liquor was flowing in Arabia. In many countries people of all religions including muslims drink.All religions promote good behaviour and do not encourage the traits mentioned above.Human beings are weak irrespective of religions.Today people from all religions commit crimes.Does that mean the respective religions approve their acts of crime.You should broaden your mind.

Liqour is good, try it sometime, you don't know what you are missing out. But how can you claim Islam is against homosexuality (personally I don't care), since it promises young boys to men in paradise. Going by what I've heard from Afghanis and Arabs, it's quite rampant in the Islamic world.

yes Polyandry is Bad however, Polygamy(according to Islam) is good which is not true for any other religion.
Islam allows Men(not women) to marry as many as Four women at a time...
And why PORK, flesh of any animal is bad...
Homosexuality is not bad, its a matter of choice and people are like that by birth and homosexuality does no harm to other people...
Ex-marital sex is not allowed in Islam however, having sex with as many as four wives are allowed...
I am not against Islam but these should not be the points used in defending Islam or putting Islam in Good light..

Sandeep Bhandare, Reading is not important, to follow them is most important. the all above things had been done by fellas like u. u F.. only know the multiplication factor i.e 2x10 or 100. u F.. don't know to survive them.
