FOOLISH PRACTICE OF BAKRI EID
by wada pav on Mar 22, 2007 03:46 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Jews , Christains , Muslims all believe that Abraham ( Ibrahim as Muslims call him ) in order to please god , set out to sacrifice his son, when he actually raised his sword and was about to land it on the sons neck, he found that the son had been replaced by a goat.

1.Muslims celebrate this event by slaughtering millions of goats all over the world.
2. This is the biggest animal sacrifice ritual in the whole world.
3. It contradicts the koran which prohibits animal sacrifice.
4. Why can't they just remember the story on that day , why do they have to re-enact it with a goat ?
5. If they are really serious, why don't they try to sacrifice their sons (like Abraham) and see if Allah replaces their son with a goat ?
If their Allah is true and not fake, then he should be able to replace the son with a goat, just like he did with Abraham.
Why not give it a try?

please look up facts before writing some comment
1. the koran does not prohibit animal sacrifice
2. for the sake of mentioning, various vedic scriptures encourage animal sacrifice, not only of goats but of other animals, some even deemed holy by hindus today
3. please read up the story of Abraham and then speak further.
4.try to show some humanity to humans in your daily life before proclaiming your love for goats.

CRUEL PRACTICE OF ' HALAL ' MEAT
by wada pav on Mar 22, 2007 03:39 AM  Permalink

Muslims kill poultry and other Animals using a method called Halal.
1.The throat of the animal is slit by a sharp knife.
2.As blood oozes out of the slit throat , the animal suffers in pain.
3. The animal does not die instantly but survives for some time with the full idea that it is going to die.

Muslims defend the practice saying that , because the blood is purged out , the meat is safe , healthy and tasty for humans to eat.
it may be true.

but they forget the important point. this is not about how the meat tastes, this is about how cruelly the animal dies.

If the animal was able to speak for itself ,would it not request a fast/instantaneous death ?

If Allah gives Muslims two options
1. Death by Halal i,e by slitting the throat.
2. Death by one single blow i.e instant death
what option would muslims choose for themselves?

The same option they should give to animals ,because animals cannot speak for themselves, so we have to use some common sense.

JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF A CRUEL 7TH CENTURY ARAB TRIBAL PRACTICE. ( that too copied from Jewish practice of 'Kosher' )

Brahmins and Their Role

Control on emotions, control on senses, purity, tolerance, simplicity, concentration and belief in knowledge and science.

[edit] Duties of Brahmin
The six duties of a Brahmin are given as per the Sloka

"Adhyaapanam Adhyayanam
Yajanam Yaajanam Tathaa
Daanam Pratigraham Chaiva
Brahmanaanaamakalpayaat"

Teaching, learning, performing Yajna, make performing Yajna, accept Daana, and give Daana are the six duties of a Brahmin.

Brahmins are also protectors of the religion. Hence, at times when religion was endangered by aggressors Brahmins took up arms to combat the threat of the enemy. Starting from the time of Parasurama, who was a mythical warrior brahmin and then to the time when all kshtriyas were trained in warfare by Brahmins, which is substantiated by mythological stories such as those from the Mahabharata.(e.g. Dronachraya and Kripacharaya). In actual life, Chanakya (also called Kautaliya) was another Brahmin who raised destitute and poor child (Chandragupta Maurya) and trained him in all spheres of life including warfare. Chandragupta created the largest empire of India ever. Under the able rule of Chandragupta, the majority of India, modern day Pakistan and south-eastern Afghanistan were united.

RAMZAN FASTING : A BIG FARCE
by wada pav on Mar 22, 2007 01:47 AM  Permalink

Muslims fast during Ramzan for a month.
This is what they do:

1. they wake up early before sunrise and eat a very heavy breakfast, they cram into their stomachs whatver they can
2. With their stomachs full, they don't feel hungry during the daytime when they are actually fasting
3. as soon as sunset happens ,they start hogging and keep eating until midnight.

By the end of the day , they end up eating more than what they would eat on a normal day ( when not fasting).
this is repeated for a month.
Allahs will is obeyed!

Thus this fasting is a big joke.

Its harmful for the digestive system, because the human body is not geared up to massive eating early in morning before sunrise and late at night.

Hindus on the other hand have true fasting.
They eat light snacks like fruits, fruit juice , milk etc. there is no sudden deprivation and sudden burden on the digestive system.

We have placed in the earth firm hills lest it quake so as not to sway and hurt people (Koran 21:31).
God has founded firm mountains on earth lest it shake people. Jalalan states (pp. 270-271),
if it were not for these unshakable mountains, the earth would slip away. (Jalalan, p. 437; Baydawi, p. 686, Tabari, p. 589, and Zamakhshari, part 4, p. 381)
