In Islam, Marriage is a social/spiritual/divine contract between wife&husband to be with each other.
If one wants to leave other, think again, again and again. because after TALAQ, meeting again has been made difficult, so that Talaq/Marriage does a become just a mockery like boy/girl-freind relationship.
HILA is not a procedure to get them back together. rather IT is a SITUATION ONLY AFETR WHICH THAT OLD RELATION CAN REMAKE. THEY SHOULD FIRST FORGET EACH OTHER. it's upto girl or girl's family to decide to go for 2nd marriage. then it's upto the 2nd man whether to divorce her, UNNECESSARILY. then it's upto the GIRL or girl's family whether to go back to first husband. there are many stake holders in this GREAT issue. it's not that simple that YOU IGNORANT, BRIDE BURNERS and WIDOW RAPERS think and misinterprete.
it's actually a punishment for both for taking MARRIAGE so lightly.
so, cases of HILA is least. and cases of TALAQ is very very less than DOWRY DEATHS and WOMEN EXPLOITATION in India.
Islam is an egalitarian religion. Brahmanism is just opposite to that.It is the negation of all human values like liberty, equality and fraternity. Under Islam everybody is equal before God. You are right,only Hinduism allows one to think freely and that is why all the comforts you enjoy from science and technology today have been discovered by Hindus by using that faculty. You talk about reservations today. How about reservations you enjoyed for 2000 years? First of all, learn to distinguish between Hinduism and Brahmanism. While the former is a liberal pathway to the TRUTH, the latter is pure parasitism and naked exploitation.

We mostly inherit our sanskars & beliefs from our parents, grandparents & the religious preachers (none of whom normally speak about the Manusmriti).
Hinduism & all the other religions born in India are indeed the most tolerant & progressive religions/ ways of life in the world.

In 1971 war Hindu Army caputured more than 1 Lac ISlamic Porkistani Soldiers. Now, these soldiers were allowed to go home with dignity.
Similarly, at the start of the Kargil War, Hindu soldiers were brutually tortured to death and their dead bodies thrown in the open. But, when these same Hindu soldiers kill the barbaric islamist from Porkistan, the dead bodies were buried by these hindu soldiers.
We just have to look at these examples to know which religion teaches what and whose parents teach what.

How much land was donated to Islamists in 1947?
How many prisioners of Wars captured by Hindu Army in 1971 war? How were these POWs treated by Hindu Army?
How much land was again donated after this war back to ISlamist Porkistan?
Is there any ISlamic country which donated land to followers of other religion so that they could follow their own religion because they felt threatened by ISlamists.

It seems that christian evangelists have paid this Ekalavyan a fortune and there he is presenting data to accopmlish evangelists' mission. I am sure that this guy is a convert and he has retained his vedic name to brainwash non beleivers of christianity and especially dalits. I would ask a question to converters. You know how people are forcibly or by other false means (luring, black mail, sex, loans etc)converted to chistianity, since ages. This means that even christains of 3-4 generations were converted in this fashion, don't these people feel cheated? How come you people are not angry as you realize that your ancestors were converted in similar fashion ages back? Don't you feel stupid on knowing how church and its mafia fooled you or forced you to christianity? These are questions to the indian christians of 3-4 or more generations who support monetarly the cause of missionaries by donating to the church.
