PARIVAR'S MANUFACTURED MYTHS

The sangh parivar%u2019s manufactured myths are perhaps best epitomised in the story that appears in various forms in most Vidya Bharti school texts, and is directed at innocent children. It needs to be quoted: %u201COn witnessing Guru Teg Bahadur%u2019s staunch defense of his faith the Emperor Aurangzeb grew red with anger. This was the same Aurangzeb who had Matidas cut through with a saw, Bhai Dayaldas thrown into a vessel of boiling hot oil, and Satidas wrapped in cotton and burnt alive%u2026Even in the last moments of his supreme sacrifice his pride in being a Hindu shone clearly on his face%u201D. (Sanskar Saurabh, Part 2, meant for Class 4). Children are then led to believe what most other texts also claim %u201Cthe Muslims came to India with the sword in one hand and the Quran in the other%u201D%u2026 %u201CNumberless Hindus were forcibly converted to Islam on the point of the sword%u201D, and so on.

Millions of children have been brought up on such staple %u201Cintellectual%u201D diet since Independence, and it is truly the privileged that have escaped part of this vast multitude. The Parivar seeks to convert them as well through the overhaul of the entire educational set up, and through its political campaigns today personified in the rabid anti-minority speeches of the likes of Modi, Togadia and Singhal. These speeches play on these myths ad nauseum to render the political climate violent, and while the majority of the Indian people may not be willing participants in any envisaged fascist take over, on the other hand many democratic and secular people carry the myth of forcible conversions in the innermost recesses of their minds, and are not able to counter this malicious propaganda

Provided, all your community people like this and they do not think themselves special and commit henious crimes under the cover of Muslim Personal Law and should try to introspect, also about their own ancestors

Advise your community people that they are Indian and not Arabas, so adopt Indian Culture, and surrender all such evils which they have been practicing in the name of Shariat, which disturbs the other community. Behave like civilized people, reciprocation would be there. Never try to exploit these dirty politician, as you have to live with people and not with the politicians

Indian, gimme a break. If you and your ilk stop wearing your trishuls masked with the tricolour to keep your true colours under wraps, peace would get a chance. Of course, the Mullahs need to do that as well. So, before you wear that Indian culture tag around your neck, take a deep look at the mirror and ask yourself a few fundamental questions of life and the pure pain of existence that beg for answers everyday on your street. I guess, that would be your first lesson in civilisation. Spare me your lecture on Shariat and whatever.

This is sophistry at its best, the problem of poverty and social development are (semi) independent of religion and need to be tackled separately. The danger from the militant Islam (in the past and currently the scourge of the modern world) on the other hand is a result of the intolerance that is built into Islam. So please stick the subject.

Secular Indian, my point to Indian minus the Secular tag, was that the Indian culture is not just about religion. Civilisation does not begin and end with religion. Social development and problems of poverty are deeply interlinked with a "civilised" society. So, dont accuse me of not sticking to the subject. My response was eminently in sync with the Indian's viewpoint.

And to remind you, just as militant Islam is the scourge of the modern world, militant Hindutva is just as dangerous and divisive to the Indian society. That cannot be understated, just because Hindutva has not spread beyond its geographic limitations. Intolerant Hindutva is in direct conflict with intolerant but a much weaker militant Islam in India. One danger cannot exist in isolation.

No one knows whether there is god or not. No one has ever seen that. No one properly knows about religion. No one knows why the hell(all religious people)they're practicing all the customs(written by some lunatic person who is definitely a mediocre and insane). Live your own life. Be a human than a religious(I mean your so called hinduism, islam, christianity, so on and so forth) person. Good Luck in your life.

Holding the palms in front of the body (gesture of begging) is also Hindu way
by Umesh Verma on Mar 30, 2007 11:15 AM  Permalink

Also, Holding the palms in front of the body (gesture of begging) is also Hindu way. In history the only character I can recall who was found to have used that gesture was Arjun when he surrendered to the will of Lord Krishna in "MahaBharath". Therefore Muslims borrowed this gesture from Hindus( Remember this was the time when INDIA was at the zenith of the civilized world of that time , ancient time).

Aurangzeb's Follower's are only Mullahs
by Perv Sharma on Mar 30, 2007 09:45 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The forcefull conversions of Kashmir Pandits and then the killing of Sikh gurus and their small children for not converting to Islam. Death of Shivaji son for the same reason.

Can these mullahs answer;

How were the islamic prisoners of war of 1971 war treated by Hindu soldiers.

How much land was donated back.

How were tbe hindu soldiers treated when captured. How were their tortured dead bodies thrown in the open by Islamists in the Kargil war.

But, how come the Hindu soldiers still buried the same islamists with dignity when their Porkistani masters refused to take their dead bodies despite being given evidence of their residence.

The mullahs answers to these questions will in itself answer their questions about they have distorted the history of Aurangzeb. Moreover, Aurangzeb as a good king of Islam is taught only in Porkistan and the mullahs here are only from Porkistan. Wonder what they will be teaching regarding 1971.
