THE GREAT MOGHUL EMPEROR - AURANGZEB
by Francoise Gautiere on May 28, 2007 11:51 PM  Permalink

THE GREAT MOGHUL EMPEROR AURANGZEB
In a polarized world that we live in (which is, sadly, getting ever more polarized now by every minute and hour), we have often assumed that what is good for "our" people had to be bad for the "other" people. A glaring example is the personality of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, who ruled India for 50 years. Of all the Muslim rulers who ruled vast territories of India from 712 to 1857 C.E., probably no one generates as much controversy as Aurangzeb. He has been hailed as anyone from a "Saintly or Pauper Emperor" to one who "tried hard to convert Hindus into Muslims." Depending on one%u2019s religious rearing, one will favor one view over the other. For example, most Hindus castigate Aurangzeb as a religious Muslim, who was anti-Hindu, who taxed them, who tried to convert them, who discriminated them away from high administrative positions, who interfered in their religious matters. On the other hand, Muslims consider him to be one of the best rulers who was a pious, scholarly, saintly, un-biased, liberal, magnanimous, tolerant, competent and far-sighted ruler. To prove the view of the former group, a close scrutiny of the Government-approved text books in schools and colleges across post-partition India (i.e., after 1947) is sufficient.1 The second group depends mostly on pre-colonial (and some pre-partition) history, land-grant deeds and other available records.
It is difficult to untangle this historical mess without scrutinizing the accusations

The Truth About Aurangzeb

Just think a man such, character, calibre who cares and concern for public can be unjust, cruel. Just imagine A King such cruel and unjust to the Majority could rule a huge country, for about 50 years, where majority members serving highest position and comprising 80% in the Military.

He was so pious best character person noble and just. You cannot find a single one in the present leaders.

1. His personal piety, however is undeniable he led an exemplary simple pious life.

He care for the Royal Treasury as Public Treasury and for public. The present leaders considers Public treasury to personal Treasy.

2. Unlike his predecessors, Aurangzeb did consider the royal treasury as a trust of the citizens of his empire and did not use it for personal expenses.

He was subedar in Deccan and Gujarat. He did not destroy any Temple, His period was peaceful and prosperous, called Golden Period.

3. Despite more than two decades he campaign as Subedar in Deccan and Gujarat there is no record of temple destruction in the region. He continued to confer Jagirs to Hindu Temples. His period was golden period and relatively peaceful, prosperous in his tenure.

He was maligned that he was against art and Music. He was the accomplished musician playing VEENA. (He banned all Ashlil Nangey Nude dances )

4. Surprisingly he is well accomplished in playing VEENA stringed instruments.(Music Instrument)

Many historians accepted that the lies against Aurangzeb invented.

5. Aurangzebs cruelty as mere rumors or at best lies invented by Hindu bigotry and British historians who wanted to weaken India by their divide and rule policy. Bankim Chatterjee who served his whole life to British Government, was a tool of this conspiracy and dividing.

He was so concern about duties, he did not miss prayer during the ongoing war.

6. He spread his prayer rug and prayed in the midst of battle ground , brought him much fame.

He stopped all bad things,Which today everybody want. Why Government banned BAR BALAYien. Dances of Rakhi sawant and Mallaika. Why Satta Bazi is illegal. Today we pay more than 66% of our income as Taxes. The present government is more than Aurangzeb.

7. He forbade, sati, drinking, gambling, prostitution, devadasies, temple dancing, brothel ashram and mutts. He Put Jiziya to Dhimmis(non-believers) Which around 2.5% like Muslim Pay their Zakat 2.5%. Eligible person should pay. The Old, Women, children were exempted. Only The Young man who does not want to serve in the Army should pay the Jiziya.

Indian parliament still Hung Bill of LOK PAL, where as Aurangzeb the only ruler who appointed Lok Pal to control corruption in Judiciary, Finanance and other departments.

8. He appointed Muhattasib (Lok Pal ) censors to control injustice and atrocities. The Brahmans and Higher Caste Hindus now found themselves facing Islamic Law Courts for the atrocities on Lower Castes Hindus.

9. He was best knowledgeable and brilliant administrator. He never tolerates injustice. He was a brave soldiers and best commander in the field. He was the only who control, Deccan and Bijapur, Dynasty. He Aurangzeb's leadership, in particular, he led Mughal forces in the conquest of the Deccan, seizing first the Golkunda and Bijapur Sultanates, and then attacking the Maratha chieftains. He annexed all the Maratha territories. He left Shivaji because there was no threat to his Kingdom.

These are the few of evidence of his greatness. The Brahamans and Higher Caste were subject to Aurangzeb justice. They maligned and created, invented, fabricated these all baseless stories

No similar contest disturbed Aurangzeb's long reign of forty-six years, which has been celebrated, though with doubtful justice, as the most brilliant period of the history of Hindustan. The empire certainly was wealthy and of enormous extent, for there were successively added to it the rich kingdoms of Bijapur and Golconda, but it was internally decaying and ready to crumble away before the first vigorous assault. Two causes principally had tended to weaken the Mogul power. The one was the intense bigotry and intolerant policy of Aurangzeb, which had alienated the Hindus and roused the fierce animosity of the haughty Rajputs. The other was the rise and rapid growth of the maratha power. Under their able leader, Sivaji, these daring warriors captured territory in every direction, nor could all Aurangzeb's efforts avail to subdue them.

My dear only Aurangzeb, brought justice and stop Brahmans and Higher Caste Hindus Atrocities. He made them accountable. That why they just spread this distorted history and baseless story. You people of shallow knowledge lost goons just grasp it. You people of lost intelligence case that why you cannnot judge and differentiate what is good and what is bad. We thank Allah he has given us brain as well as good social and human conscience that we can differentiate what is bad and what is good. I feel you people must spend time to read good book other than brochures of RSS GANGS AND GOONS. Be honest and sincere. As I said before in the computer language. Your data is infected, corrupted and hanged. Be a fresh mind read about the history and do some research work. I believe there was no Muslims, British power in India. If Islamic Government was there then there would no caste would remain. No Caste System was remain. The Aurangzeb brought some reformation and he had been paid the price. The Brahmans and Higher Caste Hindus always remain in power with the face mask of Muslims and Britshers. The Brahmans and Higher Castes always remain ruler. Fix them India will become golden bird in the world. Now they join Mayawati with new tricks to remain in power, keep dalit status as it was. Dalit leadership know well who are the main players and they want just and fair reformation in Hindu Culturism. Not religion.

Mashallah....... BJP got the message again.

and this TamasheBaaz Amar Singh...... got the similar fate as that
of Promod Mahajan in 2004.... due to their blind beleif on Media...

Now.... I am again hopeful......Inshallah India will become SuperPower

wrong fundamental of Islam
by JATIN HALDANKAR on May 14, 2007 11:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Islam, has a fight on its hands to prove the existence of any god, leave alone a specific one. Moreover, when any religion claims to have the specific word of a god written in a so-called holy book, it behoves that religion to prove the validity of the book. By definition, an omniscient and omnipotent god's word (book) must necessarily be free of contradiction and falsehood as, for instance, is claimed by the Quran. The demonstration of even one such, no matter how simplistic, refutes, the claim to divine inspiration. Thus, the theory of meteors being missiles cast at spying djinns, apart from defying credibility, does precisely that.
