Yes.. and this is how Bihar is the state that has given highest number of ISI officers to India.
We should ask for the performance report of the departments which are handled by all those ISI Officers from Bihar under RTI ACT...
Friends, Bihar is an exception for good rule. The whole system is in the rut and I belive, be it lalu or nitish kumar, they are also part of the tribe which they come from. These two are the true examples of the kind of people Bihar has today. I am of the opinion that Bihar needs a Iron Hand rule to change its path for better. It is a child's knowledge today that Bihar is definitely not a good place to be in today's world. It is the place of extreams, where either the opressor or the oppressed survive and there is not place for any modest! God Save Bihar.
Why do they want the right to copy? when, They can always purchase exam question papers from Telgi & co well before the exam begins! They also can get someone else to write the exam on their behalf. They can also bribe the examiners who check and mark the answer sheets. or if all above fails they can get a fake degree certificate!
so now tell me , is it worth to fight for the right to copy and get shot by the police ? c'mon be sensible guys! --wada pav
What has happened in these places(Madhepura & Saharsa) can not be justified at all; but also one should conclude that this happens in whole Bihar. I am not defending Bihar, but please do not have an impression that Bihar is hell and remaining states are heaven.
It is indeed sad to read about the incident in Madhepura. However it is even worse to read the caption of the article (& thanks Rediff for that) and reaction by some of the readers here.
While the poor governance that the state has witnessed in the past (and in some measure continues to witness even now), can't be denied - one can sense the chauvinistic attitude of the media and stereotype that it generates. Somebody suggests that degrees from Bihar should be valid only in India and someone else links this to the large number of IAS coming from Bihar. These are all outcome of the stereotypes that media perpetuates without looking into the incident objectively. We expect little more objectivity in news analysis from Rediff. Its not healthy at all!!!
Above article clearly states the law and order condition of Bihar..the state needs to take cognizance of this affair at the earliest and should come hard on the mob..find the places where cheating is rampant and cancel the school/college's registration (mob took to such protest since cheating was freely allowed at other centers and not at theirs!!!)... For those who consider that state of bihar is something to joke about and not their concern should revisit the law of averages...the aggregate image of India or its progress will, in a long run, will depend on that of all its constituents, including bihar..only constructive thinking is the way...newayz take care ppl and cheers..
See, wrongdoings and so lessons are everywhere. But,Bihar is unique in the sense as whom so ever for what so ever reason can make joke or remark on it.Only incidents of bad nature are highlighted that also not for solution of the problem but for fun or mirch masala. 10 or 100 people do some bad and state is labelled as Bad state. Let us be fair, is there any ideal state in India? While making any critical remark, are you showing or becoming a prt of solution? Task of 10 or say 100 people cannot mask the thousands of desrving students. Conclusion is: Bihar must not be shown in bad light just because 10 or say 100 people behave badly.Bihar minus these 100 people is good place.

Dude, that happens everywhere. 10 out of 100 people are bad. But remaining 90 people force them to take right path. In Bihar, those 10 leds are helped by others and that creates such kind of incidents which clearly shows the Bihari people are at fault.
You can not come clean just by saying that 10 out of 100 are bad. That was the situation in Bihar when lalu raj started, now situation is 50 out of 100 are bad guys (bole to True Biharis who demand cheating as their right, kidnapping as their main industry)

How do you say "now situation is 50 out of 100 are bad guys...." ??? This not fair; branding hole state reflects mind set.
Every does cheating and biharies got always caught by media and all. Should not blame only biharies but the system where everybody want to please masses and you can get waway with anything if you are in mass even brutal murders also.........
