This is nothing to do with religion all is dirty politics, those who oppose just have short memories The SIKHS originate from Hindu religion, just peep in the Sikh History you will get the real answer.
Its the politician who have made the mess out of the religions.

Sikhs believes in GURU and thier hymns which leads to ALmighty. U cant reach to god by doing HAWAN ,even if u do everything wrong. That's why GURUNANK creates a different identity.

ohh common singhji... we hindus and sikhs are the same. In UK they removed sikh holy books from temples it seems, do you really agree with these actions ? yaar, i see lots of sardars in tirupati and no hindu has every objected. hinduism, sikhism, jainism are all but same. sikhs are well know for the fact that they were the warriors who protected hindu women and children.

Hindus and Sikhs are not same.....we are never enemies but we are not same.....don't try to assimilate Sikhism into your fold. Sikhism was created only to be different from Hinduism and Islam

God is one but somethings r t be followed......Can you eat beef?? if muslims can eat , you should also eat it ?? afterall god is one...........same is with Sikhs.....Sikhs can't bow in front of anyone else than Guru Granth Saahib

C'on brothers now,dont start fight between our- salves,I am a hindu and my family has sikh following. As a hindu u can find me were a fellow humanbeings thinks the god is i.e. church,mosque, gurudwara,synogogue etc.my religion dosenot stop me from offering prayers as done by others then why stop skih,christian,muslim from offering paryers in other ways than their respective religion.My family is mix of hindu and sikh do you expect us to slit each others throte?now forget about sikhs even buddaism, jainism,is said to have born out of hinduism they do not call themselves hindus,no problem .The defination of hindu as per our constitution is quote" one who is not christian,muslim,jew,zorastrian is a hindu untill one proves otherwise"

I completely agree.. What is the problem... when we call ourselves Indian's then why do we contradict our own statement by highlighting such trivial issues..
it is very unfortunate that for want of vote our filthy polititians donot hesitate even to shatter our communal harmony. if Sidhu has performed any Yagna at his place it is his prerogative towards his beleifs who are others to deliberatly navigate his dos donts.Sidhu is a glaring Indian youth ICON who has set example for orthodox & stinking politicians how we can reunite Indians in communal respect, instead of dividing India in fraces n ultimatly distroy it.Sidhu dont be afraid,if your innersoul gives permission it is not wrong what u have done. Keep this harmony alive in ur heart. congratulations for that. sv

U r confusing punjabis with Sikhs. Hindus living in Punjab are punjabis and not Sikhs Similary Patiala peg is a punjabi hard drink not a Sikh drink.
This loser is the same guy who could not even draft a resignation letter... I mean, how hard is it to follow a template and put your name in the designated space... And he aspires to be a reprsentative of the people.. On second thoughts, maybe that's ok as he probably represents the illiterate..since he seems to be one....
